Abstract
【解決手段】光触媒素子1,11,21,31は、繊維状長尺体又は柱状体からなり、光が軸に沿う方向に入射せしめられる基材としての光導波体2,12,22,32と、光導波体2,12,22,32の表面に形成された金属被覆層3,13,23,33と、金属被覆層3,13,23,33の上に形成された光触媒薄膜層4,14,24,34とを備える。金属被覆層13,33は、前記発光ダイオードの発光光の波長より小さい直径を有し規則性をもって配列された孔部17,37を備える。金属被覆層3,13,23,33は、Au,Ag,Al,Cu,Pt,Pdからなる群から選択される1種以上の金属からなる。光触媒素子11,21は、金属被覆層3,23と光触媒薄膜層4,24との間に、ルテニウム色素層5,25又は2光子蛍光体層6,26を備える。

Claims (6)
- 光が入射せしめられる基材と、該基材の表面に形成された金属被覆層と、該金属被覆層の上に形成された光触媒薄膜層とを備える光触媒素子であって、
該基材は、繊維状長尺体又は柱状体からなり、光が軸に沿う方向に入射せしめられる光導波体であり、
該光導波体に入射せしめられた光が、該光導波体側から該金属被覆層に入射して該金属被覆層に吸収され、該金属被覆層の表面に表面プラズモン共鳴光を励起することを特徴とする光触媒素子。 - 前記金属被覆層は、前記光の波長より小さい直径を有し規則性をもって配列された孔部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光触媒素子。
- 前記金属被覆層は、Au,Ag,Al,Cu,Pt,Pdからなる群から選択される1種以上の金属からなることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の光触媒素子。
- 前記金属被覆層と、前記光触媒薄膜層との間に、ルテニウム色素層を備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の光触媒素子。
- 前記金属被覆層と、前記光触媒薄膜層との間に、2光子蛍光体層を備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の光触媒素子。
- 前記光導波体は、1.0〜1000μmの範囲の直径を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項記載の光触媒素子。
