Abstract
【解決手段】導電リッド12の被溶接部分PPと剛性ケース11の被溶接枠部11dとはレーザ溶接により互いに接合していて、該被溶接部分PPと該被溶接枠部11dに形成された溶接ビード50は剛性パッケージ10の内部空間に露出していないため、レーザ溶接を行う際に生じた溶融物やその凝固物等が剛性パッケージ10の内部空間に侵入することは無い。

Claims (4)
- 剛性パッケージと、剛性パッケージの内部空間に封入された蓄電素子及び電解液と、剛性パッケージの平坦な下面に設けられた負極端子及び正極端子とを備え、剛性パッケージは、上面開口の凹部を有する剛性ケースと、凹部の開口を水密及び気密に閉塞した導電リッドとを有していて、剛性ケースには、蓄電素子の負極プレートを導電リッドを介して負極端子に電気的に接続するための配線と、蓄電素子の正極プレートを正極端子に電気的に接続するための配線とが設けられている電気化学デバイスにおいて、
前記剛性ケースの上部には凹部を囲むようにして所定幅を有する被溶接枠部が一体形成され、前記導電リッドの外周の被溶接部分と前記被溶接枠部とはレーザ溶接により互いに接合していて、前記被溶接部分と前記被溶接枠部に形成された溶接ビードは前記剛性パッケージの内部空間に露出していない。 - 請求項1に記載の電気化学デバイスにおいて、
前記被溶接部分と前記被溶接枠部に形成された溶接ビードの幅は該被溶接枠部の幅よりも小さく、且つ、該溶接ビードは前記被溶接枠部の略幅方向中心を通るように存在している。 - 請求項1または2に記載の電気化学デバイスにおいて、
前記被溶接枠部の前記剛性パッケージの内部空間と向き合う面は電解液に対して耐食性を有する材料から形成されている。 - 請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の電気化学デバイスにおいて、
前記導電リッドは、前記剛性ケースの線膨張係数に近似した線膨張係数を有するクラッド材から形成されている。
