[実験結果]
Claims (15)
- CNがきわめて低い燃料材料の燃焼方法であって、
混成チャージ圧縮点火式エンジンの燃焼シリンダーに上記燃料材料を噴射し、エンジンの実質的に全運転時間にわたって実質的に周囲温度より高い温度で燃焼空気または作動流体をシリンダーの導入口に供給することを特徴とする燃焼方法。
- 少なくとも60℃、好ましくは90〜250℃の温度でシリンダーの導入口に上記燃焼空気または作動流体を供給する請求項1に記載の燃焼方法。
- 上記のCNがきわめて低い燃料材料がアルコール、好ましくはメタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、ブタノールあるいはグリセロールあるいはこれらアルコール2種以上の混合物、ケトン、エステル、芳香族化合物、ガソリン、1種以上の炭化水素類、再生可能なオイル類、廃溶剤あるいはこれらの一部または全部からなる混合物である請求項1または2に記載の燃焼方法。
- 上記導入口を介して上記シリンダーに流入する質量流れを補正して、標準的な運転条件下で上記シリンダーに流入すると考えられる質量流れに実質的に等しくなるような圧力でシリンダーの導入口に上記燃焼空気または作動流体を供給する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の燃焼方法。
- 燃焼室に噴射する前に、上記燃料材料を加熱する構成の請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の燃焼方法。
- エンジンからの廃熱を使用して、上記燃焼空気または作動流体の少なくとも一部を加熱する請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の燃焼方法。
- エンジンからの排気ガスの流れによって駆動されるターボチャージャーによって上記燃焼空気または作動流体を加圧する請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の燃焼方法。
- エンジンからの排気ガスの流れによって駆動されるターボチャージャーの固有な非効率性によって上記燃焼空気または作動流体の少なくとも一部を加熱する請求項7に記載の燃焼方法。
- 上記燃焼空気または作動流体の酸素分を高くした請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の点火燃焼方法。
- 上記燃料材料がグリセロールであり、このグリセロールを加熱し、60〜160℃の範囲にある温度で上記シリンダーに噴射する構成の請求項1または2に記載の燃焼方法。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項の燃焼方法に従ってCNがきわめて低い燃料材料を燃焼させ、導入空気からリサイクルした熱を使用して、使用可能な排気ガス廃熱エネルギーを維持するか大きくして回収する構成の熱およびパワーを組み合わせた形(CHP)で発生することを特徴とする方法。
- シリンダーを有する混成チャージ圧縮点火式エンジン、およびシリンダーに送られる燃焼空気を周囲温度および周囲圧力よりも実質的に高い温度および圧力に加熱加圧する加熱手段を有することを特徴とする燃料の燃焼装置。
- 上記加熱手段が、エンジン排気システムおよび/または冷却システムからの熱を上記燃焼空気または作動流体に伝熱する熱交換機を有する請求項12に記載の燃焼装置。
- 上記加熱手段が、燃焼空気または作動流体を少なくとも60℃、好ましくは90〜250℃の範囲にある温度に加熱する請求項12または13に記載の燃焼装置。
- シリンダーに送られる上記燃焼空気または作動流体を圧縮する手段が、エンジンからの排気ガスの流れによって駆動されるように構成され適合されたターボチャージャーである請求項12〜14のいずれか1項に記載の燃焼装置。
