Abstract
Description
トリメチレンカーボネートまたはR置換トリメチレンカーボネートを、固体酸触媒と、トリメチレンカーボネートまたはR置換トリメチレンカーボネートの融点を超える温度で接触させて、ポリ(トリメチレングリコールカーボネートトリメチレングリコールエーテル)ジオールオリゴマー組成物を形成することを含む、方法である。
(1)紫外線吸収が、220nmで約0.200未満、250nmで約0.075nm未満、275nmで約0.075未満、および/または
(2)CIELAB「b*」明度が、約0.15未満(ASTM D6290)、270nmでの吸光度が約0.075未満、および/または
(3)過酸化物組成物が、約10ppm未満、および/または
(4)合計有機不純物(1,3−プロパンジオール以外の有機化合物)の濃度が、ガスクロマトグラフィーにより測定すると、約400ppm未満、より好ましくは、約300ppm未満、さらにより好ましくは、約150ppm未満である。
これらの実施例は、溶剤を用いずに、様々な温度で、Nafion(登録商標)NR50イオン交換樹脂を触媒として用いるポリ(トリメチレングリコールカーボネートトリメチレングリコールエーテル)ジオールの製造を示すものである。
Claims (7)
-
の構造のポリ(トリメチレングリコールカーボネートトリメチレングリコールエーテル)ジオールを製造する方法であって、
トリメチレンカーボネートまたはR置換トリメチレンカーボネートを、固体酸触媒と、トリメチレンカーボネートまたはR置換トリメチレンカーボネートの融点を超える温度で接触させて、ポリ(トリメチレングリコールカーボネートトリメチレングリコールエーテル)ジオールオリゴマー組成物を形成させることを含む、上記方法。 - トリメチレンカーボネートが、非置換トリメチレンカーボネートである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 固体酸触媒が、ジビニルベンゼンで架橋されたポリ(スチレンスルホン酸)を含むイオン交換樹脂からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の方法。
- 固体酸触媒が、テトラフルオロエチレン/パーフルオロ(4−メチル−3,6−ジオキサ−7−オクテン−1−スルホン酸)コポリマーである請求項1に記載の方法。
- ポリ(トリメチレングリコールカーボネートトリメチレングリコールエーテル)ジオールオリゴマーを単離することをさらに含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 温度が摂氏30度を超える請求項1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法により製造されるポリ(トリメチレングリコールカーボネートトリメチレングリコールエーテル)ジオール。
