Claims (7)
- 常温でリグニン繊維を製造するのに適した、アルセル法として知られる方法により抽出されたリグニンの溶液を調製する方法であって、適切な溶媒、好ましくはエタノールへのリグニンの溶解からなり、前記溶液中のリグニンの比率が溶媒質量に対する質量で10〜90%であり、このようにして得られた前記溶液が、体積一定で、混合物中に存在し得る前駆体の凝集体を溶解するのに十分な長さの時間加熱され、その後、体積一定で常温に達するまで冷まされることを特徴とする、方法。
- 常温でリグニン繊維を製造するのに適した、アルセル法以外の方法で抽出されたリグニンの溶液を調製するための、請求項1に記載の方法であって、溶媒中に有機溶媒、好ましくはアルコール、有機酸(ギ酸および酢酸)、フェノール、クレゾール、酢酸エチル、アミンおよびその酸化物、ケトン、ジオキサンおよびDMSOを使用し、前記溶液中のリグニンの比率が溶媒質量に対する質量で10〜90%であり、このようにして得られた前記溶液が、体積一定で、混合物中に存在し得る前駆体の凝集体を溶解するのに十分な長さの時間加熱され、その後、体積一定で常温に達するまで冷まされることを特徴とする、方法。
- 熱分解または液化等の異なる方法を用いてバイオマスから得られる前駆体の溶液を調製するための、請求項1に記載の方法であって、前駆体を適切な溶媒に直接溶解するか又は濃縮後に溶解することで、常温での前駆体の紡糸が可能になることを特徴とする、方法。
- 前記リグニン溶液を触媒粒子またはその他のナノ構造材料でドープして、リグニン繊維の熱処理で得られる炭素繊維の特性を調節することを特徴とする、請求項1〜3に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜4の手段により得られる炭素前駆体溶液の、直径マイクロメートルおよびナノメートルの繊維を製造する方法であって、
前記前駆体溶液を、別の同心円状キャピラリーチューブの内側に配置されたキャピラリーチューブに通すこと、
適切な溶媒を、前記2つのチューブの間に存在する環状空間に通すこと、
連結されて同じ電位にある前記2つのキャピラリーチューブと基準電極との間の電位の差を印加すると、前記前駆体溶液の円錐形メニスカスとそれを囲む溶媒層とからなる帯電メニスカスが形成されること、
前記帯電メニスカスの下流で、溶媒層で囲まれた前記溶液の噴流からなる同軸噴流が形成されること、
前記内側のキャピラリーの末端と前記基準電極の距離が1mm〜1mの間であり、両電極間に印加される電位の差が1V〜100kVの間であり、前記キャピラリーを通る溶液および溶媒の流れが0.001ml/hr〜10000ml/hrであり、前記同軸噴流の直径が900マイクロメートル〜5ナノメートルであること
を特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜4に従って得られる炭素前駆体溶液から、直径がマイクロメートルおよびナノメートルの中空繊維を製造する方法であって、
同心円状に配置された3つのキャピラリーチューブにより形成される中間環状空間に前駆体溶液を通すこと、
工程中にステージの変化しない不活性液体を最も内側のチューブに通すこと、
2つの最も外側のチューブの間に存在する環状空間に適切な揮発性溶媒を通すこと、
連結されて同じ電位にあるキャピラリーチューブと基準電極との間の電位の差を印加すると、前駆体溶液の円錐形メニスカスが溶媒層で覆われ且つ内部に不活性液体のメニスカスを有する構造を有する帯電メニスカスが形成されること、
前記メニスカスの先端から発する噴流により、前記前駆体溶液が前記不活性液体を囲み且つ前記前駆体溶液が溶媒層に囲まれた3つの液体の同軸噴流が生じること、
内側のキャピラリーの末端および前記基準電極の間の距離が1mm〜1mであること、
両電極間に印加される電位の差が1V〜100kVであること、
キャピラリーチューブを通る前記溶液および前記溶媒の流れが0.001ml/hr〜10000ml/hrであること、
同軸噴流の直径が900マイクロメートル〜5ナノメートルであること
を特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1〜3に従って得られる炭素前駆体溶液から、直径がマイクロメートルおよびナノメートルの同軸繊維を製造する、請求項5の方法からなる方法であって、前記不活性液体が、固化可能な別のもの(ポリマー、ゾル−ゲル等)で交換され、その結果、ポリマー材料またはセラミック材料がリグニン層で囲まれた同軸繊維が得られることを特徴とする、方法。
