Abstract
【解決手段】複列アンギュラ玉軸受で構成された車輪用軸受装置において、外方部材12の肩部18の肩高さが複列のボール14列のボール径に対して0.35〜0.50の範囲に設定され、肩部18の角部19が、外側転走面12aの接線となる直線とされた逃げ面19aと、所定の曲率半径rで円弧状に丸められた面取り部19bとで構成され、角部19が複列の外側転走面12aを形成する総型の研削砥石によって同時に形成され、それぞれの外側転走面12aから滑らかに連続して形成されると共に、逃げ面19aの半径方向長さhが0.2mm以上に設定されている。

Claims (10)
- 内周に円弧状の複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する円弧状の複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
前記両転走面間に保持器を介して転動自在に収容された複列のボール列とを備えた車輪用軸受装置において、
前記外方部材の肩部の角部が、前記外側転走面の接線となる直線とされた逃げ面と、所定の曲率半径で円弧状に丸められた面取り部とで構成され、前記角部が前記複列の外側転走面を形成する総型の研削砥石によって同時に形成され、それぞれの外側転走面から滑らかに連続して形成されると共に、前記逃げ面の半径方向長さが0.2mm以上に設定されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記肩部の肩高さが前記複列のボール列のボール径に対して0.35〜0.50の範囲に設定されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記複列の外側転走面のうち、大きなモーメント荷重が負荷される側の外側転走面の肩高さが、他方の外側転走面の肩高さよりも大きく設定されている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記複列の外側転走面のうちアウター側の外側転走面の肩高さHo1が前記ボール列のボール径doに対して、Ho1/do=0.40〜0.50の範囲に設定されると共に、インナー側の外側転走面の肩高さHi1が前記ボール列のボール径diに対して、Hi1/di=0.35〜0.45の範囲に設定されている請求項3に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記複列のボール列のうちアウター側のボール列のピッチ円直径がインナー側のボール列のピッチ円直径よりも大きく設定され、前記アウター側のボール列のボール個数が前記インナー側のボール個数よりも多く設定されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記逃げ面からさらに所定の傾斜角をもって延びる直線状の第2の逃げ面が旋削面で形成されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記第2の逃げ面の傾斜角が前記逃げ面に対して10°以下に設定されている請求項6に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記逃げ面と第2の逃げ面とが所定の曲率半径からなる円弧面で繋がれている請求項6または7に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記円弧面の表面粗さが3.2Ra以下に規制されている請求項8に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記第2の逃げ面の表面粗さが3.2Ra以下に規制されている請求項6乃至9いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
