Abstract
【解決手段】DOC及びDPFを収容した第1の筐体40と、SCR触媒を収容した第2の筐体70と、を排気上流側が車幅外方に位置するようにフレーム10の外方に並列配置すると共に、第1の筐体40の排気流出口と第2の筐体70の排気流入口を連通管で連通する。また、第1の筐体40を、DOCを収容する第1のケーシング90とDPFを収容する第2のケーシング100とに二分割可能とし、これらをボルト110などで分離可能に締結する。さらに、第1のケーシング90の排気流入口42を車幅内方に向けて屈曲させ、ボルト230などを介して、先端が車幅外方に向けて開口する排気管240に着脱可能に締結する。そして、第1の筐体40を構成する第2のケーシング100及び第2の筐体70を、第1のブラケット150及び第2のブラケット160を介してフレーム10に固定する。

Description
そこで、本発明は従来技術の問題点に鑑み、DPFを容易に取り外せるようにした排気浄化装置を提供することを目的とする。
図1は、本発明を具現化した排気浄化装置の一例を示す。
車体の前後方向に延びる梯子型のフレーム10の車幅外方には、図示しないブラケットを介して、DOC20及びDPF30を収容した略筒形の第1の筐体40と、SCR触媒50及び酸化触媒60を収容した第2の筐体70と、が排気上流側を車幅外方に向けた状態で近接して並列に取り付けられる。第1の筐体40では、排気上流に配設されたDOC20が、排気中の一部のNO(一酸化窒素)をNO2へと酸化する一方、排気下流に配設されたDPF30が、排気中のPMを捕集しつつNO2を用いて再生処理を行うことで、連続的なPMの浄化を可能とする。第2の筐体70では、排気上流に配設されたSCR触媒50が、還元剤前駆体としての尿素水溶液から生成されるアンモニアを用いて排気中のNOxを選択還元浄化する一方、排気下流に配設された酸化触媒60が、SCR触媒50を通過したアンモニアを酸化することで、アンモニアの放出を抑制しつつNOxを浄化する。
即ち、フレーム10の外側面には、締結部材の一例としてのボルト140を介して、車体前後方向に離間して第1のブラケット150及び第2のブラケット160が夫々着脱可能に締結される。第1のブラケット150は、車体前後方向に所定間隔隔てつつ車幅外方に向かって延びる一対の腕部152が一体化された第1の部材154と、締結部材の一例としてのボルト170及びナット172を介して、第1の部材154の腕部152に着脱可能に連結される車幅外方に向かって延びる第2の部材156と、を含んで構成される。ここで、第1の部材154が、ボルト140を介してフレーム10の外側面に着脱可能に締結される。また、第2のブラケット160は、車幅外方に向かって延びる腕部162を有する略L字形の第1の部材164と、その車体上下方向延びる部分をフレーム10に固定するための第2の部材166と、を含んで構成される。
また、エンジン運転状態に応じた流量で噴射ノズルから噴射された尿素水溶液は、排気熱及び排気中の水蒸気を使用して加水分解され、還元剤として機能するアンモニアへと転化される。このアンモニアは、SCR触媒50において排気中のNOxと選択還元反応し、無害成分であるH2O(水)及びN2(窒素ガス)へと浄化されることは知られたことである。一方、SCR触媒50を通過したアンモニアは、その排気下流に配設された酸化触媒60により酸化されるので、アンモニアがそのまま大気中に放出されることを抑制できる。
また、第1のブラケット150及び第2のブラケット160は、第1の筐体40を構成する第2のケーシング100及び第2の筐体70をフレーム10に対して搭載可能であれば、以上説明した構造をなしていなくてもよい。

Claims (5)
- 車体前後方向に延びるフレームの外方に、排気流通方向に沿ってDOC及びDPFをこの順番で収容した筒形の第1の筐体と、アンモニアを使用して排気中の窒素酸化物を選択還元浄化するSCR触媒を収容した筒形の第2の筐体と、を排気上流側が夫々車幅外方に位置するように並列配置すると共に、前記第1の筐体の排気流出口と前記第2の排気流入口とを連通管で連通接続した排気浄化装置であって、
前記第1の筐体は、前記DOCを収容する第1のケーシングと、前記DPFを着脱可能に収容する第2のケーシングと、に二分割可能な構造をなし、前記第1のケーシングと前記第2のケーシングとは、車幅外方から臨むことができる複数の第1の締結部材を介して分離可能に締結されると共に、
前記第1のケーシングにおける排気流入口は、車幅内方に向かって屈曲形成され、車幅外方から臨むことができる第2の締結部材を介して、先端が車幅外方に向けて開口する排気管に着脱可能に締結され、
前記第1の筐体を構成する第2のケーシング及び前記第2の筐体は、ブラケットを介して、前記フレームの外側面に固定されたことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。 - 前記複数の第1の締結部材のうち、上方に位置する少なくとも1つの第1の締結部材は、前記第1のケーシングに溶接されたボルト及びその先端部に螺合されるナットからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記複数の第1の締結部材のうち、上方に位置する少なくとも1つの第1の締結部材は、前記第2のケーシングに埋設されたスタッドボルト及びその先端部に螺合されるナットからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記DPFは、車幅外方から臨むことができる第3の締結部材を介して、前記第2のケーシングに着脱可能に締結されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1つに記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記第2の筐体には、前記SCR触媒の排気下流にアンモニアを酸化させる酸化触媒が更に収容されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1つに記載の排気浄化装置。
