Abstract
【解決手段】コヒーレント光を光源とするプロジェクタは、コヒーレント光を出射する1つ以上のコヒーレント光源10,11,12と、前記コヒーレント光源から得られるビームの方向を変化させるビーム走査手段50と、前記ビーム走査手段と前記コヒーレント光源の光路間に、前記ビームを複数に分割し、分割された各セグメントの光の位相を変化させるビーム分割装置40とを備えるようにし、前記ビーム分割装置は、一対の透明基板と、前記透明基板のそれぞれに基板上に直交する向きに配置された複数の平行電極と、前記透明基板間に封入された液晶と、を備えた構成とし、前記電極には所定の時間間隔で個別に電圧印加され、前記透明基板に挟まれた液晶に異なる電位が生じるようにした。

Claims (6)
- コヒーレント光を光源とするプロジェクタにおいて、
コヒーレント光を出射する1つ以上のコヒーレント光源と、
前記コヒーレント光源から得られるビームの方向を変化させるビーム走査手段と、
前記ビーム走査手段と前記コヒーレント光源の光路間に、前記ビームを複数に分割し、分割された各セグメントの光の位相を変化させるビーム分割装置とを備えることを特徴とするプロジェクタ。 - 請求項1に記載のプロジェクタにおいて、前記ビーム分割装置は、
一対の透明基板と、
前記透明基板のそれぞれに基板上に直交する向きに配置された複数の平行電極と、
前記透明基板間に封入された液晶と、を備え、
前記電極には所定の時間間隔で個別に電圧印加され、前記透明基板に挟まれた液晶に異なる電位が生じることを特徴とするプロジェクタ。 - 請求項2に記載のプロジェクタにおいて、
前記電極にはフレーム時間ごとに電圧印加されることを特徴とするプロジェクタ。 - 請求項2に記載のプロジェクタにおいて、
前記電極に印加される電圧は、3値以上の電圧が印加されることを特徴とするプロジェクタ。 - 請求項2に記載のプロジェクタにおいて、
前記ビーム分割装置の液晶は、強誘電性液晶であって、前記電極にはフレーム時間より短いタイミングで電圧印加されることを特徴とするプロジェクタ。 - 請求項2に記載のプロジェクタにおいて、
前記ビーム分割装置の液晶は、強誘電性液晶であって、前記電極のそれぞれの印加電圧タイミングは、電圧印加周期より短いタイミングの時間ずれをもつことを特徴とするプロジェクタ。
