Abstract
【解決手段】生体適合性のマルチポリマーは、約10重量%から約45重量%の少なくとも一つの堅固なセグメント(1)及び約55重量%から約90重量%の柔軟なセグメント(2、3及び4)を含む骨格を有する。その柔軟なセグメント(2、3及び4)は、三つの群、合計の柔軟なセグメントの重量の5重量%から25重量%の酸素の浸透可能な柔軟なセグメント(2)、合計の柔軟なセグメントの重量の5重量%から25重量%の親水性の柔軟なセグメント(3)、及び合計の柔軟なセグメントの重量の50重量%から90重量%の生物学的に安定な相対的に疎水性の柔軟なセグメント(4)へ、分割される。

Description
この例において、それら柔軟なセグメントは、2000の分子量を有するポリヘキシル=エチル=カルボナート=ジオール(PHECD)、1500の分子量を有するポリエチレングリコール(PEG)、及び、1000の分子量を有するポリジメチルシロキサン=ジオール(PDMSD)であり、その堅固なセグメントは、250.26の分子量を有する4,4’−ジフェニルメタン=ジイソシアナート(MDI)及び60.1の分子量を有するエチレンジアミン(ED)で構成され、且つ、それら末端基は、2000の分子量を有するメトキシ=ポリエチレングリコール(mPEG)及び、2000の分子量を有する単官能のOHで終端がなされたポリジメチルシロキサン(mPDMS)である。反応器には、8.6モルのPHECD、6.9モルのPDMSD、0.044モルのmPDMS、及び3.8モルのPEGが装填される。それら反応物は、窒素パージと共に、真空下で乾燥させられる。そして、ジメチルアセトアミドにおける32.7モルの4,4’−ジフェニルメタン=ジイソシアナートの溶液が、その反応器に添加されると共に、その反応器の内容物は、さらに、追加のジメチルアセトアミドの溶剤で希釈される。それら構成成分は、3時間の間、55℃で攪拌される。そして、その反応器の内容物は、より多くのジメチルアセトアミドの溶剤で希釈されると共に、40℃まで冷却される。重合体の合成は、ジメチルアセトアミドの溶剤における12.5モルのエチレンジアミンを添加すること、及び、30分の間、40℃で攪拌することによって、完了される。
Claims (17)
- (a)約10重量%から約45重量%の少なくとも一つの堅固なセグメント、
(i)合計の柔軟なセグメントの重量の5重量%から25重量%の酸素浸透性の柔軟なセグメント、
(ii)合計の柔軟なセグメントの重量の5重量%から25重量%の親水性の柔軟なセグメント、及び
(iii)合計の柔軟なセグメントの重量の50重量%から90重量%の生物学的に安定な疎水性の柔軟なセグメント
を含む
(b)約55重量%から約90重量%の柔軟なセグメント
を含む骨格を有する、生体適合性のマルチポリマー。 - 前記生物学的に安定な疎水性の柔軟なセグメントは、ポリカーボナートである、請求項1に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 前記親水性の柔軟なセグメントは、[O(CH2)N]Mの化学的な形態をし、N<4である、請求項1に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 前記親水性の柔軟なセグメントは、より具体的には、ポリエチレンオキシドである、請求項3に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 前記酸素浸透性の柔軟なセグメントは、ポリジメチルシロキサンである、請求項1に記載のマルチポリマー。
- キャップ形成末端基をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 前記キャップ形成末端基は、当該マルチポリマーの約10重量%未満を含む、請求項6に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 300プサイから1,000プサイまでの引っ張り強さを有する膜を形成することが可能な、請求項1に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 100%から1,000%の極限伸びを有する膜を形成することが可能な、請求項1に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 乾燥重量の2%から25%の水の吸収を有する膜を形成することが可能な、請求項1に記載のマルチポリマー。
- それの水の吸収及び親水性の柔軟なセグメントの体積が、合計の乾燥した重合体の体積の75%未満であるという特性を有する膜を形成することが可能な、請求項1に記載のマルチポリマー。
- ブドウ糖に対して浸透性である、生体適合性の親水性の区分された区画のマルチポリマーであって、
それの水の吸収及び親水性の柔軟なセグメントの体積は、それの合計の乾燥した重合体の体積の75%未満である、マルチポリマー。 - 堅固なセグメント、酸素浸透性の柔軟なセグメント、親水性の柔軟なセグメント、及び、生物学的に安定な疎水性の柔軟なセグメントを有する、請求項12に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 前記少なくとも一つの柔軟なセグメントは、より具体的には、5重量%から25重量%の前記酸素浸透性の柔軟なセグメントを含む、請求項13に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 前記少なくとも一つの柔軟なセグメントは、より具体的には、5重量%から25重量%の前記親水性の柔軟なセグメントを含む、請求項13に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 前記少なくとも一つの柔軟なセグメントは、より具体的には、50重量%から90重量%の前記生物学的に安定な疎水性の柔軟なセグメントを含む、請求項13に記載のマルチポリマー。
- 酸化によってブドウ糖を感知する、及び、酸素及びブドウ糖の浸透選択性である膜を含む、ブドウ糖センサーであって、
前記膜は、ポリカーボナートの生物学的に安定な疎水性の柔軟なセグメントを含む骨格を有する、生体適合性のマルチポリマーを含む、ブドウ糖センサー。
