Abstract
【解決手段】発光装置は、青色光を生成する発光素子と、青色光を受光し、受光された青色光のうちの一部は透過させ、残りの一部は青色光と異なる波長範囲を有する黄色光に変換して放射する蛍光層とを含む。蛍光層は少なくとも110nmの半値幅を有し、ピーク波長が530nm以上560nm以下の波長範囲に位置する発光スペクトルを有し、黄色光は青色光のピーク発光強度の10%以上30%以下に対応するピーク発光強度を有する。

Claims (15)
- 複数の画素を備える表示パネルと、
第1光と第2光とを組合せて生成された第3光を前記表示パネルに放射する発光装置と、を含み、
前記発光装置は、
前記第1光を生成する発光素子と、
前記発光素子から前記第1光を受光し、前記受光された第1光のうちの一部は透過させ、残りの一部は前記第1光と異なる波長範囲を有する前記第2光に変換して前記第3光として放射する蛍光層とを含み、
前記第2光は110nm以上の半値幅を有し、ピーク波長が530nm以上560nm以下の波長範囲に存在する発光スペクトルを有し、前記第2光は予め設定された波長範囲内で前記第1光のピーク発光強度の10%以上30%以下に対応する発光強度を有することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記蛍光層の発光スペクトルは緑色波長領域と赤色波長領域とを含み、前記緑色波長領域と前記赤色波長領域との面積比は10:3以上7:1以下の範囲内に存在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記蛍光層はバリウム(Ba)、ストロンチウム(Sr)及びカルシウム(Ca)のうちの少なくとも1つを含むシリケート系蛍光体を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記蛍光層は、ピーク波長が515nm以上530nm以下の第1波長範囲に位置する第1蛍光体と、
ピーク波長が540nm以上560nm以下の第2波長範囲に位置する第2蛍光体と、
ピーク波長が580nm以上610nm以下の第3波長範囲に位置する第3蛍光体と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第1蛍光体は20以下の重量部を有し、前記第2蛍光体は35以上60以下の重量部を有し、前記第3蛍光体は20以上65以下の重量部を有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1波長範囲で前記第1蛍光体の発光スペクトルは、前記蛍光層の発光スペクトルの面積に対して20%より小さい面積を有し、
前記第2波長範囲で前記第2蛍光体の発光スペクトルは前記蛍光層の発光スペクトルの面積に対して35%以上60%以下の面積を有し、
前記第3波長範囲で前記第3蛍光体は前記蛍光層の発光スペクトルの面積に対して20%以上65%以下の面積を有することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の表示装置。 - 前記所定の波長範囲は570nm以上620nm以下に設定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第3光はCIE1931色座標系を基準に0.24以上0.26以下に対応するx軸座標と0.20以上0.21以下に対応するy軸座標とを有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示パネルは青色カラーフィルタ、緑色カラーフィルタ及び赤色カラーフィルタをさらに含み、
前記青色カラーフィルタ、緑色カラーフィルタ及び赤色カラーフィルタは前記第3光を受光し、前記受光された光を前記CIE1931色座標系を基準に0.27以上0.28以下のx軸座標と0.29以上0.30以下のy軸座標とを有する光として放射することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の表示装置。 - 第1光を生成する発光素子と、
前記第1光を受光し、前記受光された第1光のうちの一部は透過させ、残りの一部は前記第1光と異なる波長範囲を有する第2光に変換して前記第1光と前記第2光との組合せによって生成された第3光を放射する蛍光層と、を含み、
前記蛍光層は少なくとも110nm以上の半値幅を有し、ピーク波長が530nm以上560nm以下の波長範囲に位置する発光スペクトルを有し、
前記蛍光層の前記発光スペクトルは緑色波長領域と赤色波長領域とを含み、前記緑色波長領域と前記赤色波長領域との面積比は10:3以上7:1以下の範囲内に存在することを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記蛍光層は少なくとも1つの蛍光体を含み、
前記蛍光体はバリウム(Ba)、ストロンチウム(Sr)及びカルシウム(Ca)のうちの少なくとも1つを含むシリケート系を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の発光装置。 - 前記蛍光層はピーク波長が515nm以上530nm以下の波長範囲に位置する発光スペクトルを有する第1蛍光体と、
ピーク波長が540nm以上560nm以下の波長範囲に位置する発光スペクトルを有する第2蛍光体と、
ピーク波長が580nm以上610nm以下の波長範囲に位置する発光スペクトルを有する第3蛍光体と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第1蛍光体は20以下の重量部を有し、
前記第2蛍光体は35以上60以下の重量部を有し、
前記第3蛍光体は20以上65以下の重量部を有することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第1蛍光体の発光スペクトルは前記蛍光層の発光スペクトルの面積に対して20%より小さい面積を有し、
前記第2蛍光体の発光スペクトルは前記蛍光層の発光スペクトルの面積に対して35%以上60%以下の面積を有し、
前記第3蛍光体の発光スペクトルは前記蛍光層の発光スペクトルの面積に対して20%以上65%以下の面積を有することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の発光装置。 - 前記第3光はCIE1931色座標系を基準に0.24以上0.26以下のx軸座標と0.20以上0.21以下のy軸座標とを有することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の発光装置。
