Abstract
【解決手段】 液剤21を対象部位に塗布するための液剤塗布装置11であって、開口部38に液剤21が線状に臨む液溜まり部37と、前記液溜まり部37に液剤21を供給する液剤供給部33,35と、前記液溜まり部37を前記対象部位に位置させると共に、該液溜まり部37の線状液剤21を前記開口部38から前記対象部位に接触させる塗布動作を行う塗布動作部17と、を備えた。

[液剤塗布装置の概要]
図1は、本発明の実施例に係る液剤塗布装置の説明図である。
[線状塗布ヘッドの構成]
図2は、実施例に係る液剤塗布装置の要部である線状塗布ヘッドの説明図であり、図2(A)は、線状塗布ヘッドの斜視図、図2(B)は、線状塗布ヘッドを下方から視た平面図、図3は、線状塗布ヘッドのうち液溜まり部に注目した説明図であり、図3(A)は、図2(B)のIIIA−IIIA線に沿う液溜まり部の矢視拡大断面図、図3(B)は、図2(B)のIIIB−IIIB線に沿う液溜まり部の矢視拡大断面図、図4は、液溜まり部に溜められた線状液剤の説明図であり、図4(A)は、図3(A)の液溜まり部に線状液剤が溜められた様子を示す説明図、図4(B)は、図3(B)の液溜まり部に線状液剤が溜められた様子を示す説明図である。
[液剤塗布装置の適用例]
本実施例に係る液剤塗布装置11は、液剤を線状に塗布すべき対象部位を有する全てのワークに適用することができる。前記ワークの一例として、図5に示すように、ヘッドサスペンション41の半製品を例示することができる。
前記開口部49に前記圧電素子47を実装するにあたり、次述する二段階の線状塗布工程を実行する。
前記第2の線状塗布工程では、液剤(非導電性接着剤)21を線状塗布すべき対象部位は、矩形枠形状である。こうした所定の形状を有する対象部位に、ムラなく適量の液剤を塗布する目的で、変形例に係る線状塗布ヘッドを好適に用いることができる。
上記実施例の他の変形例に係る液剤塗布装置の塗布ヘッドについて図8(A)〜図9(B)を参照して説明する。
本発明は、上述した実施例に限られるものではなく、請求の範囲及び明細書全体から読み取れる発明の要旨、あるいは技術思想に反しない範囲で適宜変更可能であり、そのような変更を伴う液剤塗布装置もまた、本発明における技術的範囲の射程に包含されるものである。

Claims (10)
- 液剤を対象部位に塗布するための液剤塗布装置であって、
開口部に液剤が線状に臨む液溜まり部と、
前記液溜まり部に液剤を供給する液剤供給部と、
前記液溜まり部を前記対象部位に位置させると共に、該液溜まり部の線状液剤を前記開口部から前記対象部位に接触させる塗布動作を行う塗布動作部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。 - 請求項1記載の液剤塗布装置であって、
前記液溜まり部は、前記開口部を前記対象部位側に有する溝部からなり、
前記塗布動作部は、前記溝部に溜められた線状液剤のうち前記開口部からの垂下部分を前記対象部位に接触させることによって前記線状液剤を前記対象部位に塗布する、
ことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。 - 請求項1又は2記載の液剤塗布装置であって、
前記液剤供給部は、液剤が貯められる貯液部と、該貯液部から前記液溜まり部に至るまで液剤を導く複数の液導部とを含んでなる、
ことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。 - 請求項3記載の液剤塗布装置であって、
前記複数の液導部は、円筒状に形成され、該円筒の内径及び長さは均等にされた、
ことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。 - 請求項3又は4に記載の液剤塗布装置であって、
前記複数の液導部は、相互に均等な間隔をおいて設けられた、
ことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の液剤塗布装置であって、
前記液溜まり部は、撥液処理が施された、
ことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。 - 請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の液剤塗布装置であって、
前記液溜まり部は、前記対象部位が有する形状と同一形状に形成された、
ことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の液剤塗布装置であって、
前記液溜まり部は、開口縁部に前記液剤をガイドするガイド面を備えた、
ことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。 - 請求項3〜8のいずれか一項に記載の液剤塗布装置であって、
前記液導部は、前記液溜まり部に対する開口縁部に前記液剤をガイドするガイド面を備えた、
ことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。 - 請求項8又は9記載の液剤塗布装置であって、
前記液溜まり部又は液導部のガイド面は、テーパ面又は曲面である、
ことを特徴とする液剤塗布装置。
