Abstract
【課題】 相対回転位相の変更速度向上、及び相対回転位相の変更に必要な作動油圧の低減が行え、かつ弁開閉時期制御装置のコストが増大することを抑制できる弁開閉時期制御装置を提供すること。
【解決手段】 駆動側回転部材3と従動側回転部材5との摺動面のうち、駆動側回転部材3の内周面と従動側回転部材5の突出部5Aの外周面との第1摺動面5Bは、他の摺動面よりも摺動抵抗が小さいこと。

Claims (3)
- 内燃機関のクランクシャフトに対して同期回転する駆動側回転部材と、
前記駆動側回転部材に対して同軸上に配置され、内燃機関の弁開閉用のカムシャフトに同期回転する従動側回転部材と、
前記駆動側回転部材と前記従動側回転部材とにより形成され、作動油が供給されることにより前記駆動側回転部材に対する前記従動側回転部材の相対回転位相を遅角方向に移動させる遅角室と前記相対回転位相を進角方向に移動させる進角室とを備え、
前記駆動側回転部材は、前記カムシャフトの軸方向の少なくとも一方が開口した円筒状のハウジング部材と、前記ハウジング部材の前記開口を閉塞するプレート部材とで構成され、
前記ハウジング部材または前記プレート部材には、前記従動側回転部材と前記カムシャフトとを接続可能とするための貫通孔が前記カムシャフトの軸方向に形成され、
前記駆動側回転部材と前記従動側回転部材との軸受部は、前記貫通孔の内周面と前記従動側回転部材の外周面及び前記カムシャフトの外周面の少なくとも何れか1つとで構成され、
前記駆動側回転部材と前記従動側回転部材との摺動面のうち、前記軸受部である第1摺動面は、他の摺動面よりも摺動抵抗が小さいことを特徴とする弁開閉時期制御装置。 - 前記第1摺動面は、樹脂材料にて形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の弁開閉時期制御装置。
- 前記第1摺動面は、前記駆動側回転部材の内周面または前記従動側回転部材及び前記カムシャフトの少なくとも何れか1つの外周面に設けられたベアリング部材を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の弁開閉時期制御装置。
