Abstract
【解決手段】燃料フロー制御器16および空気フロー制御器22のためのパルス噴射器を利用する燃料改質のための反応器フロー制御装置10を提供する。噴射器が噴霧混合器28に統合されることにより、O/C比率を有する混合気を生成し、混合気は接触部分酸化を行う改質反応器38へと送られる。この反応器フロー制御装置10を使用することにより、改質反応器38の有益かつ長期間の運用が可能となる。

このモードにおいて動作を実際に可能な性能としては、完全な酸化生成物である二酸化炭素(CO2)および水(H2O)と比較して、部分的な酸化生成物であるCOおよびH2に対する高い選択性を提供する反応器設計を必要とする。

Claims (19)
- 燃料改質のための装置であって、
(a)入口と出口とを規定する燃料フロー制御器と、
(b)入口と出口とを規定する空気フロー制御器と、
(c)入口と出口とを規定する噴霧混合器であって、O/C比率を有する混合気を生成する噴霧混合器と、
(d)前記燃料フロー制御器からの出口と前記噴霧混合器への入口とを流体連通する通路と、
(e)前記空気フロー制御器からの出口と前記噴霧混合器への入口とを流体連通する通路と、
(f)改質反応器と、
(g)前記噴霧混合器からの出口と前記改質反応器とを流体連通する通路と、を備えることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記燃料フロー制御器が、パルス噴射器を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記空気フロー制御器が、パルス噴射器を備えることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記燃料フロー制御器が、定流量弁を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記空気フロー制御器が、定流量弁を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から4いずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記(d)の前記通路が、流量を制御する制限装置を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1から5いずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記(e)の前記通路が、流量を制御する制限装置を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1から6いずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧混合器が、リッチ混合気を生成することを特徴とする請求項1から7いずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記噴霧混合器が、リーン混合気を生成することを特徴とする請求項1から7いずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記燃料フロー制御器、前記空気フロー制御器および前記噴霧混合器が、平均O/C比率および瞬間的O/C比率を規定することを特徴とする請求項1から9いずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記燃料フロー制御器、前記空気フロー制御器および前記噴霧混合器が、瞬間的O/C比率を周期的に変化させながら平均O/C比率を維持することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の装置。
- 前記燃料フロー制御器または前記空気フロー制御器のうちの少なくとも1つが、それを通る反応物のパルスフローの周波数を変化させるための手段を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記燃料フロー制御器または前記空気フロー制御器のうちの少なくとも1つが、それを通る反応物のパルスフローの振幅を変化させるための手段を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記瞬間的O/C比率が、1秒未満の継続時間にわたり、1秒未満の周期間隔で、10より大きい数値を規定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記瞬間的O/C比率が、1秒より大きい継続時間にわたり、1秒より大きい周期間隔で、10より大きい数値を規定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載の装置。
- 燃料改質のための装置であって、
(a)噴射器を備えて燃料フローを制御するための手段と、
(b)噴射器を備えて空気フローを制御するための手段と、
(c)前記燃料フローおよび前記空気フローを噴霧および混合するための手段であって、それにより混合気を生成するための手段と、
(d)改質反応器と、を備えることを特徴とする装置。 - (e)前記(c)の前記噴霧および混合する手段へと送られる燃料の量を調節するための手段を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の装置。
- (e)前記(c)の前記噴霧および混合する手段へと送られる空気の量を調節するための手段を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の装置。
- 燃料改質のための装置であって、
(a)パルス噴射器を備え、入口と出口とを規定する燃料フロー制御器と、
(b)パルス噴射器を備え、入口と出口とを規定する空気フロー制御器と、
(c)入口と出口とを規定する噴霧混合器であって、O/C比率を有する混合気を生成する噴霧混合器と、
(d)前記燃料フロー制御器からの前記出口および前記噴霧混合器への前記入口と流体連通する通路であって、それを通る燃料フローの量を制御するための制限装置を更に備える通路と、
(e)前記空気フロー制御器からの前記出口および前記噴霧混合器への前記入口と流体連通する通路であって、それを通る空気フローの量を制御するための制限装置を更に備える通路と、
(f)改質反応器と、
(g)前記噴霧混合器の出口から前記改質反応器へと流体連通する通路とを備えることを特徴とする装置。
