図3は、図2のステント10を第1の拡張状態で示している。第1の拡張状態のステント10の直径は、送達状態のステント10の直径のおよそ1.9倍である。隣り合った蛇行状のバンド20は、ステント10の長さに沿って引き続きオーバラップしている。1つの共通のステント外周18aは、第1の蛇行状のバンド20aおよび隣接する第2の蛇行状のバンド20bと引き続き交差することができる。いくつかの実施形態では、共通のステント外周18aが第1の蛇行状のバンド20aのすべてのストラット22および第2の蛇行状のバンド20bのすべてのストラット22と交差するのに十分なオーバラップ部が存在しうる。
第1の部分49および第3の部分51はそれぞれ任意の適切なステント構造を含んでなる。いくつかの実施形態では、第1の部分49および第3の部分51は互いに類似して形作られてもよい。いくつかの実施形態では、第1の部分49および第3の部分51は互いに異なっていてもよい。
自己拡張型のステント10が、例えば図9〜12に示されるような、異なる領域49,50,51に異なる蛇行状のバンド20,116のパターンを含んでなる場合、第2の領域50の蛇行状のバンド20は、端部領域49および51の蛇行状のバンド116よりも大きなサイズへと自己拡張するように構成可能である。例えば、端部領域49および51のいずれかの蛇行状のバンド116は、公称の拡張直径dに拡張するように熱設定可能であり、かつ第2の領域50の蛇行状のバンド20は、例えば1.1d;1.25d;1.5d;1.75d;2d;などのようなより大きな直径に拡張するように熱設定可能である。こうして、第2の領域50は分枝脈管の中まで拡張することができる。
いくつかの実施形態では、放射線不透性材料を、付属部60のようなステント10の一部に付与することができる。いくつかの実施形態では、放射線不透性材料および治療薬の両方をステント10に付与することができる。例えば、アニロックスローラの彫刻されたセルに、治療薬および放射線不透性材料を交互に提供して、両方をステント10の局所領域に付与することができる。
Claims (20)
- 基端および先端を有するステントであって、
第1の領域、第2の領域および第3の領域を含んでなる管状本体であって、複数の蛇行状のバンドによって画成され、蛇行状のバンドはそれぞれ、ストラットによって接続された複数の交互に並んだ基端側折り返し部および先端側折り返し部を含んでなることを特徴とする、管状本体と、
第2の領域は、共通のステント外周に沿って互いにオーバラップする第1の蛇行状のバンドおよび第2の蛇行状のバンドを含んでなることと、
第1の領域および第3の領域はそれぞれ、共通のステント外周に沿って別の蛇行状のバンドとはオーバラップしていない蛇行状のバンドを含んでなることと
からなるステント。 - 第1の蛇行状のバンドのストラットおよび第2の蛇行状のバンドのストラットが、共通のステント外周に沿ってオーバラップする、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 第1の領域または第3の領域の蛇行状のバンドは互いにオーバラップしない、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 第2の領域の蛇行状のバンドはそれぞれ、少なくとも1つの他の蛇行状のバンドとオーバラップする、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 中央の領域は第3の蛇行状のバンドをさらに含んでなり、第2の蛇行状のバンドおよび第3の蛇行状のバンドは共通のステント外周に沿って互いにオーバラップする、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 第1の領域は交互に並んでいる蛇行状のバンドおよびコネクタ・カラムを含んでなり、各々のコネクタ・カラムは複数のコネクタ・ストラットを含んでなり、各々のコネクタ・ストラットは2つの隣接する蛇行状のバンドの間を接続する、請求項1に記載のステント。
- コネクタ・カラムは交互に並んでいる第1のコネクタ・カラムおよび第2のコネクタ・カラムを含んでなり、第1のコネクタ・カラムは、第2のコネクタ・カラムのコネクタ・ストラットとは異なるコネクタ・ストラットを有している、請求項6に記載のステント。
- 第2の領域の蛇行状のバンドはそれぞれ、複数の第1のストラットおよび第2のストラットを含んでなり、全ての基端側折り返し部が、第1のストラットにより第1の先端側折り返し部に、第2のストラットにより第2の先端側折り返し部に接続され、各々の第1のストラットは、各々の第2のストラットの曲線状のパスとは異なる曲線状のパスを画成する、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 付属部をさらに含んでなり、該付属部は第2の領域に位置する自由端を含んでなる、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 付属部は接続端で第1の領域の蛇行状のバンドに接続されている、請求項9に記載のステント。
- 付属部は接続端で他のステント構造に接続されているだけである、請求項10に記載のステント。
- 接続端は蛇行状のバンドの基端側山部に接続し、かつ先端方向に伸びる、請求項10に記載のステント。

- 複数のリンク部材をさらに含んでなり、リンク部材はそれぞれ2つの隣接する付属部の間を接続する、請求項14に記載のステント。

- ステントは自己拡張型であり、第2の領域の拡張形態は第1の領域の拡張形態よりも大きい直径からなる、請求項1に記載のステント。
