Claims (10)
- 電池カバープレートの排気孔上に固定して覆設されたバルブ本体を備え、当該バルブ本体上には当該バルブ本体の内室に連通する排気口が開設されており、当該バルブ本体の頂蓋と電池カバープレートの排気孔との間にはバルブコアが弾性的に介設されている電池安全弁において、
当該バルブコアの側壁とバルブ本体の内壁との隙間の四周には互いに隔てて複数の角柱が介設されており、隣接する二つの角柱毎とバルブコアの側壁、バルブ本体の内壁との間に挟まれた空間は側排気溝を形成し、当該側排気溝と前記バルブ本体上の排気口は互いに連通されていることを特徴とする電池安全弁。 - 前記バルブコアは弾性材料から製造されており、当該バルブコアの上端はバルブ本体の頂蓋に突き当てており、バルブコアの下端は電池カバープレート上に設けられた前記排気孔を取り囲む一つの環状ボスに密接していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池安全弁。
- 前記排気口はバルブ本体の頂蓋の中心に位置しており、当該バルブコアの上端において隣接する二つの角柱毎の間の位置には、前記側排気溝と当該排気口とを互いに連通する上排気凹溝が開設されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池安全弁。
- 前記上排気凹溝の深さは、バルブコアの高さの10〜20%であり、幅はバルブコアの円周周長の2〜15%であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電池安全弁。
- 前記バルブ本体とバルブコアはいずれも円筒体形状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池安全弁。
- 前記角柱とバルブコアは一体成形により一体に製造されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれに記載の電池安全弁。
- 前記角柱の高さはバルブコアの高さの50〜90%であり、厚さはバルブコアの直径の2〜15%であり、幅はバルブコアの円周周長の5〜15%であり、前記環状ボスの高さは0.13〜1.5mmであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の電池安全弁。
- 前記角柱はバルブ本体の内壁上に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれに記載の電池安全弁。
- 前記角柱はバルブ本体の内壁と同じ高さであり、角柱の厚さはバルブ本体の内壁の直径の2〜15%であり、幅はバルブ本体の内壁の円周周長の5〜15%であり、前記環状ボスの高さは0.1〜1mmであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電池安全弁。
- 前記角柱の数は3〜6個であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池安全弁。
