Claims (15)

  1. ある長さを有する少なくとも1つの導体を備えるRF/MRI適合リード線であって、該少なくとも1つの導体は、対向する遠位端部分および近位端部分を有しており、
    該少なくとも1つの導体は、多層積層型コイル構成を有する少なくとも1つの区画を有し、該少なくとも1つの区画は、第1の順方向コイル状区間を含み、該第1の順方向コイル状区間は、第1の順方向物理長だけ、順長さ方向に延び、次いで、近接して位置する逆方向コイル状区間につながるように折れ曲がり、該逆方向コイル状区間は、逆方向物理長だけ、実質的に反対の逆長さ方向に延び、次いで、近接して位置する第2の順方向コイル状区間につながるように折れ曲がり、該第2の順方向コイル状区間は、第2の順方向物理長だけ、該順長さ方向に延びる、RF/MRI適合リード線。
  2. 前記順方向コイル状区間および逆方向コイル状区間の少なくともいくつかの回転は、並んだ長さ方向の配向で、互いに近接して存在する、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  3. 前記逆方向コイル状区間の少なくともいくつかの回転は、前記第1の順方向コイル状区間に近接して、かつその上に存在する、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  4. 前記逆方向コイル状区間の少なくともいくつかの回転は、前記順方向コイル状区間の少なくとも1つの順方向コイル状区間の少なくともいくつかの回転を挿入される、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  5. 前記順方向コイル状区間は、中心軸周りに前記長さ方向に延び、間隙を画定するために該順方向コイル状区間の連続した回転が長さ方向に離間されるようにピッチを有し、前記逆方向コイル状区間は、該中心軸周りに延び、該逆方向コイル状区間の回転が該順方向コイル状区間の該間隙内に実質的に存在するようにピッチを有する、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  6. 前記第1の順方向コイル状区間は、第1の層に存在し、逆方向コイル状層は、該第1の層の上の第2の層に存在し、前記第2の順方向コイル状区間は、該第2の層の上の第3の層に存在して、3層積層型導体コイル構成を画定する、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  7. 前記第1のコイル状順方向区間および前記逆方向コイル状区間は、実質的に共通の層に存在し、前記第2のコイル状順方向区間は、該第1の順方向および逆方向コイル状区間の上に存在して、2層積層型導体コイル構成を画定する、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  8. 前記第1のコイル状順方向区間および前記逆方向コイル状区間は、実質的に同一ピッチを有し、前記第2の順方向コイル状区間は、該第1および逆方向コイル状区間のピッチよりも小さいピッチを有する、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  9. 前記少なくとも1つの導体は、複数の導体であり、該複数の導体は、それぞれ、少なくとも1つの組の前記第1および第2の順方向コイル状区間ならびに前記逆方向コイル状区間の多層積層型コイル構成を有する少なくとも1つの区画を有する、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  10. 前記第1のコイル状順方向区間および前記逆方向コイル状区間は、実質的に同一ピッチを有し、前記第2の順方向コイル状区間は、該第1および逆方向コイル状区間のピッチよりも小さいピッチを有する、請求項9に記載のリード線。
  11. 前記少なくとも1つの導体を収容し、かつ前記リード線の前記長さの少なくとも大部分が実質的に一定の外径を有するように構成される可撓性ポリマー外層をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  12. 少なくとも1つの電極をさらに備え、前記リード線は、複数の導体を備え、該複数の導体のうちの1つ以上は、該少なくとも1つの電極と連通する、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  13. 前記導体は、前記多層積層型コイル構成の少なくとも2つの区画を有し、一方の区画における1つの多層積層型コイル構成の上部層の順方向区間は、他方の区画の底部層の順方向区間につながる、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  14. 前記少なくとも1つの導体は複数の導体であり、該複数の導体は、第1の導体の少なくとも1つの多積層型区画が、第2の導体の少なくとも1つの多積層型区画のコイル状区間に実質的に同心的であるコイル状区間を有するように構成される、請求項1に記載のリード線。
  15. 前記リード線は、第1の絶縁導体および第2の絶縁導体を備え、該第1の絶縁導体および第2の絶縁導体は、それぞれ、前記多積層型コイル構成を有する複数の区画を有し、該第1の導体の該多積層型コイル構成の該区画は、該リード線の長さに沿って、該第2の導体の該多積層型コイル構成の該区画のうちの区画と交互になる、請求項1に記載のリード線。
