Description
本特許出願は、2007年1月7日に出願された米国特許仮出願第60/883,795号の優先権を主張する。これは、本明細書に参照によって組み込まれる。
Claims (11)
- 直列に接続された複数のセルの中の個別のセルの電圧を計測するためのシステムにおいて、
前記セルのうち少なくとも1つの電荷を蓄えるキャパシタと、
前記セルのうち少なくとも1つを前記キャパシタに選択的に接続するための前記キャパシタに電気的に接続された少なくとも1つのスイッチと、
前記キャパシタによって供給されるアナログ電圧を受け取り、該アナログ電圧を第1デジタル電圧データに変換するための、前記キャパシタと電気的に連絡する入力、を有する第1アナログ・デジタル変換器(ADC)と、
前記セルによって供給されるアナログ電圧を受け取り、該アナログ電圧を第2デジタル電圧データに変換するための、前記セルのうち少なくとも1つと電気的に連絡する入力、を有する第2ADCと、
を含むシステム。 - 前記第1ADCと前記第2ADCとから前記第1デジタル電圧データを受け取るために前記第1ADCと前記第2ADCとに連絡する制御器をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御器が、さらに、データ間のばらつきを判定するために、前記第1デジタル電圧データと前記第2デジタル電圧データとの比較を行うことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のセルは1番目のセルを含み、前記少なくとも1つのスイッチは、第1の側と第2の側とを有する1番目のセルスイッチを含み、前記第1の側は前記1番目のセルに電気的に接続されている、ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2ADCの前記入力が前記1番目のセルスイッチの前記第1の側に電気的に接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2ADCが複数の第2ADCであり、各第2ADCが前記セルのうち1つに電気的に接続可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記キャパシタに蓄えられた電荷を増幅し、前記アナログ電圧を前記第1ADCに供給するための、前記キャパシタと前記第1ADCとの間に電気的に接続された増幅器をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 直列に接続された複数のセルの中の個別のセルの電圧を計測し、キャパシタと第1アナログ・デジタル変換器(ADC)と第2ADCとを含むシステムを利用して計測精度を検証するための方法において、
前記セルのうち1つを前記キャパシタに電気的に接続する工程と、
所定の充電時間で前記キャパシタを充電する工程と、
前記所定の充電時間の経過に応答して、第1ADCを使用して、前記充電されたキャパシタからのアナログ電圧を、前記キャパシタの電圧に対応する第1デジタル電圧信号に変換する工程と、
第2ADCを使用して、前記セルのうち1つからのアナログ電圧を、該セルの電圧と対応する第2デジタル電圧信号に変換する工程と、
を含む方法。 - 前記第1デジタル電圧信号を受け取る工程と、前記第2デジタル電圧信号を受け取る工程とをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記デジタル電圧信号間のばらつきを判定するために、前記第1デジタル電圧信号を前記第2デジタル電圧信号と比較する工程をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記デジタル電圧信号間のばらつきが許容可能なばらつきよりも大きい場合、機能不全を伝える工程をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
