Description
年齢41歳、体重113kgの男性を、Tuborgの無糖オレンジソフトドリンク0.25Lに溶解させたアルギン酸塩(Satialgine US 20)2.5gを含むダイエット食品で処理した。ダイエット食品は、1日1回、夕食15分前に摂取させた。処理1ヶ月後、3.5kgの体重減少が観察された。長期にわたる満腹感及び健康状態が達成された。
年齢24歳、体重140kgの男性を、実施例1に記載のダイエット食品で処理した。ダイエット食品は、1日1回、夕食15分前に摂取させた。処理1ヶ月後、6.5kgの体重減少が観察された。長期にわたる満腹感及び健康状態が達成された。
年齢47歳、体重56kgの女性を、Tuborgの無糖オレンジソフトドリンク0.25Lに溶解させたアルギン酸塩(Satialgine US 20)1gを含むダイエット食品で処理した。ダイエット食品は、1日1回、夕食15分前に摂取させた。これにより、食品摂取が半減しても、さらに依然として通常の主食後と同一の満腹感が達成された。翌日、用量を2gに増量することにより、主食を摂る願望が消失した。
年齢49歳、体重125kgの女性を、COOPの糖無添加アカフサスグリジュース0.4Lに溶解させたアルギン酸塩(Satialgine US 20)2.5gを含むダイエット食品で処理した。ダイエット食品を夕食30分前に摂取させたところ、通常量の半分の食品しか摂取しなかった。2日目及び3日目には、摂取した食品の量が通常のわずか40%であった。女性によると、就寝前の甘いものに対する通常の衝動がなかった。
水1LにSatialgine US 20を5g溶解させて原液を調製した。原液を撹拌しながら、各飲料に関して以下に示す成分を添加した。
2キノリン(Quinolin)イエロー(E104)2.0%及びグリーンS(E142)0.17%
3天然パッションフルーツフレーバーのプロピレングリコール溶液(E1520)及びトリアセチン(E422)
4天然コーラフレーバーのプロピレングリコール溶液(E1520)
5アンモニア化カラメル(E150d)80%水溶液
アルギン酸塩の溶液の調製及びそのゲル化
アルギン酸ナトリウム(S20、Cargillより入手可能)4gを、0.4%(w/w)となるように、脱イオン水1000mLに溶解させた。粘度をブルックフィールドLV型粘度計、スピンドルNo.2、20rpmによって測定した。22℃の温度で、Metrohm 6.0233.100電極を有するPhilipsのPW 9420/1 pHメータを用いてpHを測定したところ6.89であった。粘度を測定したところ35.75cPであった。
アルギン酸塩の溶液の調製及びそのゲル化
試験アルギン酸塩(XPU−LVG500 506/08、Cargillより入手可能)8gを脱イオン水1000mLに溶解させた。溶液のpHは7.21であった。実施例6に記載の方法を用いて粘度を測定したところ32.5cPであった。30%(w/w)塩酸を用いて溶液をpH2.09まで酸性化した。超音波で泡の大半を除去した後、粘度を測定したところ3200cPであった。
Claims (26)
- アルギン酸塩をゲル化させないpH値で水性の溶解形態又は膨潤形態であるアルギン酸塩を含む、ダイエット食品。
- 前記アルギン酸塩の分子量が150000以下である、請求項1に記載のダイエット食品。
- ブルックフィールドRV型粘度計、スピンドルNo.2、20rpmで20℃で測定される、前記アルギン酸塩の4%水溶液粘度が、800cPを超えない、請求項1又は2に記載のダイエット食品。
- ブルックフィールドRV型粘度計、スピンドルNo.2、20rpmで20℃で測定される、前記4%水溶液粘度が、100cP〜800cPである、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品。
- ブルックフィールドRV型粘度計、スピンドルNo.2、20rpmで20℃で測定される、前記アルギン酸塩の4%水溶液粘度が、200cP〜600cPである、請求項4に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記pH値が4以上である、請求項1に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記pH値が5以上である、請求項6に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記ダイエット食品中の不溶性カルシウム塩の量が、前記pHがpH=2に変化すると、200ppm未満のカルシウムイオンを生じる、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記ダイエット食品中の不溶性カルシウム塩の量が、前記pHがpH=2に変化すると、50ppm未満の溶解カルシウムイオンを生じる、請求項8に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記アルギン酸塩が、前記ダイエット食品の0.2g/kg〜20g/kgの濃度で存在する、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記アルギン酸塩が、前記ダイエット食品の1.5g/kg〜10g/kgの濃度で存在する、請求項10に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記ダイエット食品の粘度が、前記pHがpH7からpH2に低下すると、20倍以上増大する、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記ダイエット食品の粘度が、前記pHがpH7からpH2に低下すると、50倍以上増大する、請求項12に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記粘度が、前記pHがpH7からpH7に低下すると、100倍以上増大する、請求項12又は13に記載のダイエット食品。
- 不溶性カルシウム塩の存在量が、前記アルギン酸塩の重量に対して1重量%未満である、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記ダイエット食品が、単糖又は二糖を、0.1g/kg〜60g/kg、好ましくは10g/kg〜40g/kgの濃度でさらに含有する、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記単糖又は前記二糖が、サッカロース、グルコース、転化糖又はそれらの混合物から成る群から選択される、請求項16に記載のダイエット食品。
- 飲料である、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品。
- ソフトドリンク又はスープである、請求項18に記載のダイエット食品。
- 前記アルギン酸塩がアルギン酸ナトリウムである、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品。
- 消費前に飲料等の食料品に対する添加物として使用することを目的とした、濃縮状態で存在する、請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品。
- 主食の少なくとも10分前に請求項1〜21のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品を消費する工程を含む、食品の消費を調節する方法。
- 請求項1〜21のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品の消費を調節する方法であって、該ダイエット食品を、糞便の密度が1g/cm3以下となる量で消費する工程を含む、方法。
- 糞便の密度が0.9g/cm3以下である、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 血糖調節を必要とする人間に、薬学的有効量の請求項1〜21のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品を投与する、血糖を調節する方法。
- コレステロールを低下させる治療を必要とする人間に、薬学的有効量の請求項1〜21のいずれか一項に記載のダイエット食品を投与する、コレステロールのレベルを低下させる方法。
