Abstract
アルファ−オレフィン単量体の共重合体が他のポリエチレン樹脂よりも配向加工で用いるに適することを見いだした。1つの面におけるPEは、0.3g/10分から5.0g/10分のMFI、110℃から140℃の融点、0.912g/cm3から0.965g/cm3(%)の密度、10%以下のヘイズ値、少なくとも90の透明度および少なくとも60の光沢を示す。そのポリエチレンを加熱し、製品に成形し、冷却した後、その製品に延伸配向を受けさせる。1つの態様において、本ポリエチレンを用いて製造することができるフィルム、テープ、溶融押出し加工品、射出ブロー成形品、射出延伸ブロー成形品、鋳造品および熱成形品の厚みは0.1ミルから100ミルである。このポリエチレンはそのような用途で優れた弾性、じん性、引き伸ばしおよび光学特性を示す。
Description
本出願は、2006年11月21日付けで出願した米国仮特許出願番号60/860,285の利点を請求するものである。
本発明は、特定のシングルサイト触媒、例えばメタロセン触媒などを用いて生じさせたポリエチレン樹脂を製品の成形を例えば溶融押出し加工、射出成形、射出ブロー成形または注型(casting)などで行った後に冷却そして次に前記製品に配向もしくは延伸を受けさせる工程で用いることに関する。本製品は良好な光学特性、ゲージ分布、引き伸ばし特性およびじん性を有する。

Claims (20)
- 0.3g/10分から5.0g/10分のメルトフローインデックス、0.912g/cm3から0.965g/cm3の密度および110℃から140℃の融点を示すポリエチレンで構成される製品であって、
前記ポリエチレンを溶融押出し加工、射出成形、ブロー成形または注型で成形することで製品を生じさせ、
前記成形した製品を冷却した後、一軸もしくは二軸配向させることで配向した製品を生じさせ、そして
前記配向した製品が0.1ミルから100ミルの厚み、10%以下のヘイズ値、少なくとも90の透明度および少なくとも60%の光沢値を示す、
製品。 - 更にポリエチレンが共重合体で構成されている請求項1記載の製品。
- ポリエチレンがシングルサイト触媒、例えばメタロセン触媒などを用いて作られたものである請求項1記載の製品。
- 注型品である請求項1記載の製品。
- 押出し加工ブローンフィルムである請求項1記載の製品。
- 継ぎ目なし管の形態である請求項1記載の製品。
- バッグである請求項1記載の製品。
- 包装材または容器である請求項1記載の製品。
- 射出ブロー成形品である請求項1記載の製品。
- 射出延伸ブロー成形品である請求項1記載の製品。
- 熱成形品である請求項1記載の製品。
- 製品製造方法であって、
0.3g/10分から5.0g/10分のメルトフローインデックス、0.912g/cm3から0.965g/cm3の密度および110℃から140℃の融点を示す押出し加工グレードのポリエチレンホモ重合体もしくは共重合体を準備し、
前記ポリエチレンを加熱しそして押出し加工品、成形品または注型品に成形し、
前記成形した製品を冷却して固体状態にし、
前記成形した製品を再び加熱し、そして
前記製品を一軸もしくは二軸配向させることで配向した製品を生じさせる、
段階を含んで成る方法。 - 製品を流れ方向に引き伸ばすことで前記製品を一軸配向させる請求項12記載の方法。
- 製品を流れ方向に引き伸ばした後に前記製品を別に横方向に引き伸ばして前記製品を二軸配向させることで二軸配向製品を生じさせる請求項12記載の方法。
- 製品の流れ方向引き伸ばしと前記製品の横方向引き伸ばしを同時に行って前記製品を二
軸配向させることで二軸配向製品を生じさせる請求項12記載の方法。 - 製品が継ぎ目なし管である請求項12記載の方法。
- 製品がバッグである請求項12記載の方法。
- 製品が包装材または容器である請求項12記載の方法。
- 製品がテープである請求項12記載の方法。
