Abstract
Description
全椎間板を除去し、連接された人工器具に置き換えることと、核を除去し、置き換えることと、冒された椎間板に隣接して脊椎骨を恒久的に固定することを含む脊椎固定と、を含む。
れた模倣が可能である、最小侵襲性の脊椎固定術インプラントの必要が存在する。
モジュール部分と連結するまで、第1の硬質レールを椎体間の空間へと滑動される。次いで、第1の硬質レールの尾部の幹が器具から切り離される。この切り離しは、単純に器具からレールを折り取ることによって行うことができる。これに代えて、尾部の幹が、ねじ込み、バヨネット機構、コンテナ緊締装置などによって器具へ取り付けられてもよい。この場合、ひねること、バヨネットを取外すことなどによって、レールを器具から除去することができる。続くモジュール部分が隣接した硬質レールを椎体間の空間へと滑動され、次いで、先に挿入されたモジュール部分と同様にして連結される。全てのモジュール部分が挿入され、尾部の幹が全て切り離されると、モジュール式椎体間スペーサが完全に患者の椎体間空間へ挿入される。
配置されるとともに、レール上の次のモジュール部分が依然として本体の外にあることが可能である。代表的な一実施形態では、幹部分の長さは6cm〜20cmの範囲である。各レール110,112,114は、器具が挿入前に分離されることを防ぐための保持部分をさらに備えてもよい。この保持部分は、対応するモジュール部分がレールを滑動することを防止するように構成される。保持部分はレールへ成型されてもよく、器具の製造中に加えられる別個の部品またはレールの変形であってもよい。レール110,112,114は、モジュール部分102,104,106,108が脊椎骨間の空間内において連結され、側方へ移動されるにつれて、インプラントから連続的に除去されてもよい。

- 用意された椎体間空間へのインプラントが行われることに適合した、隣接した脊椎骨を固定するためのモジュール式椎体間固定器具であって、
幅を有する第1のモジュール部分と、第1のモジュール部分は、少なくとも部分的に該幅の1つの側に沿って、かつ、第1のモジュール部分の本体部分の周辺部を越えて延びている第1のレールを有することと、
幅を有し、該幅の1つの側で第1のレールへ滑動可能に接続された第2のモジュール部分と、第2のモジュール部分は、少なくとも部分的に該幅の別の側に沿って、かつ、第2のモジュール部分の本体部分の周辺部を越えて延びている第2のレールを有することと、
幅を有し、該幅の1つの側で第2のレールへ滑動可能に接続された第3のモジュール部分と、を備え、
第2および第3のモジュール部分がインプラント前に第1および第2のレールに沿って延ばされるとともに、レールによって離間され、ほぼ端同士を接する構成に配置された延伸位置と、モジュール部分が脊椎の平面形状を模倣する単一体の本体を形成し、隣接した脊椎に器具を接触させ支持させるように、ほぼ側同士を接する構成に配置された植込位置と、を有するモジュール式椎体間固定器具。 - 第3のモジュール部分は第3のレールを有し、モジュール式板補綴物は第4のモジュール部分をさらに備え、第4のモジュール部分は幅を有し、該幅の1つの側で第3のレールへ滑動可能に接続されている請求項1に記載のモジュール式椎体間固定器具。
