Description

Claims (20)
- 環境内で移動が可能な車両本体と、
前記車両本体に連結され、選択的に前記主要車両本体から外側の方向に延出し、前記主要車両本体に向かって内側の方向に少なくとも部分的に引っ込めるように構成された付属器と、
前記付属器に連結され、車両フレームの直近領域から遠隔の位置で前記環境を感知するように構成されたセンサとを備える、無人地上ロボット車両。 - 前記センサが、遠位端のところで前記付属器に配置された、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサが、前記付属器に取外し可能に取付け可能である、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサがカメラを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサが化学センサを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記センサが光センサを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。

前記環境内の第1の点に前記無人地上ロボット車両を配置するステップと、
前記付属器の遠位端を前記環境内の第2の点に配置するように、前記無人地上ロボット車両から前記付属器を延出するステップであって、前記第2の点が前記第1の点から離されているステップと、
前記付属器を介して前記第2の点で前記環境に関するセンサデータを集めるステップと、
前記付属器を引っ込めさせるステップとを含む方法。 - ペイロードを前記付属器の前記遠位端に取外し可能に取り付けるステップをさらに含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記ペイロードを前記第2の点に置くステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記ペイロードを前記第2の点のところで取り上げるステップをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
