Abstract
【解決手段】アルキル基が少なくとも8つの炭素原子を有する単官能基アルキル・アクリルレートと、光重合開始剤と、アルコキシル化ジアクリレート及びトリアクリレートと、アミノ・アクリレートと、単官能基モノマー及び多機能モノマーと、オリゴマーと、それらの混合物とを備えているアクリレート・モノマーと、を備えるプライマー組成物を、プライマー・コーティングを形成している基板上へ塗布し、かつ、紫外線硬化型のインクジェット用インクを前記プライマー・コーティングの表面に印刷する。

例
-50%のエトキシル化(3)トリメチロールプロパン・トリアクリレート(サートマー社から入手可能なSR454)、
-40%の1,6-ヘキサンジオール・ジアクリレート(サートマー社から入手可能なSR238)、
-10%の2-ヒドロキシ-1-2メチル-フェニルプロパノン(チバ社から入手可能なDarocur1173)。
ベース組成物が、作成され、かつ、PET基板上に塗布される。下記の表に示されているイソデシル・アクリレートの濃度の変化による組成物の発明例1-3は、ベース組成物の30%まで1,6-ヘキサンジオール・ジアクリレートを置換することによって作成されている。

Claims (8)
- アルキル基が少なくとも8つの炭素原子を有する単官能基アルキル・アクリルレートと、
光重合開始剤と、
アルコキシル化ジアクリレート及びトリアクリレートと、アミノ・アクリレートと、単官能基モノマー及び多機能モノマーと、オリゴマーと、それらの混合物とを備えているアクリレート・モノマーと、
を備えるプライマー組成物を、
プライマー・コーティングを形成している基板上へ塗布し、かつ、
紫外線硬化型のインクジェット用インクを前記プライマー・コーティングの表面に印刷する、
印刷方法。 - 前記アクリレートのアルキル基が分岐している、請求項1に記載の印刷方法。
- アルキル(メセドリン)アクリレートは、イソデシル・アクリレート、イソオクチルアクリレート、3,3,5-トリメチル・シクロヘキシル・アクリレート、及び、それらの混合物からなる一群から選択される、請求項1に記載の印刷方法。
- 前記プライマー組成物は、無着色である、請求項1に記載の印刷方法。
- (a) (i)アルキル基が少なくとも8つの炭素原子を有していて、表面張力が30dyne/cm(0.03N/m)未満の単官能基アルキル(メセドリン)アクリレートと、(ii)光重合開始剤と、(iii)アルコキシル化ジアクリレート、アルコキシル化トリアクリレート、アミノ・アクリレート、単官能基モノマー及び多機能モノマー、オリゴマー、及び、それらの混合物からなる一群から選択されるモノマーを含むアクリレート・モノマーとを備える、プライマー組成物を基板の少なくとも一部に塗布し、
(b) プライマー・コーティングを形成するために塗布された前記プライマー組成物を硬化させ、かつ、
(c) 前記プライマー・コーティングの表面に放射線硬化型インクジェット用インクを印刷し、
前記単官能基アクリレート(i)の含有量が、塗布された前記放射線硬化型インクジェット用インクの所望のドットサイズを生成するように選択される、
インクジェット式インクのドットサイズの調整方法。 - 前記単官能基アルキル・アクリレートは、イソデシル・アクリレート、イソオクチルアクリレート、3,3,5-トリメチル・シクロヘキシル・アクリレート、及び、それらの混合物を備える、請求項5に記載のインクジェット式インクのドットサイズの調整方法。
- 更に、グレースケール・インクの滴直径を調整するために、表面張力が30dyne/cm未満の単官能基アルキル・アクリレートの濃度を調整する、請求項5に記載のインクジェット式インクのドットサイズの調整方法。
- 前記プライマー組成物は、無着色である、請求項5に記載のインクジェット式インクのドットサイズの調整方法。
