Claims (25)
- 少なくとも2つの棘突起を取り囲むように適合されている係留構造であって、脊椎が屈曲を受けるにつれて、該係留構造の少なくとも一部が弾性的に伸長して、該棘突起に引張力を加える、係留構造と、
該係留構造の対向した部分に結合され、該係留構造が該突起を取り囲むときに、該棘突起の間にあるように配置される少なくとも1つのクロス部材と
を備える脊椎インプラント。 - 前記係留構造は、該係留構造が前記棘突起を取り囲むときに、該棘突起の対向した側にあるように配置される少なくとも2つの対向した追従性部材を備える、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記クロス部材は、前記追従性部材に取り付けられ、かつ、該追従性部材の間に延在する、請求項2に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 少なくとも1つのクロス部材は、前記追従性部材に隣接する前記係留構造上の位置に取り付けられる、請求項2に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記脊椎インプラントは、少なくとも2つのクロス部材を備えており、少なくとも1つのクロス部材は、前記追従性部材の各端部に隣接する前記係留構造に結合される、請求項4に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記クロス部材は、前記棘突起の間の前記棘間靭帯を貫通するように適合される、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記クロス部材は、前記棘突起の動きを制限しない、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記クロス部材は、前記脊椎の伸展を実質的に制限しない状態にしておく、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記クロス部材は、前記分節が伸展しているときに、最小の軸方向荷重を支持する、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 前記クロス部材は、実質的に剛性である、請求項1に記載の脊椎インプラント。

- 前記クロス部材は実質的に剛性であり、かつ、前記追従性部材に固定的に取り付けられることにより、該追従性部材と該クロス部材とは、剛性のH構造を備える、請求項2に記載の脊椎インプラント。
- 脊椎の屈曲を制限する方法であって、
連続する係留構造を、隣接した1対の椎骨上の棘突起の上に配置することであって、該突起が屈曲しているときに、該係留構造が該突起を弾性的に引張る、ことと、
該係留構造が時間とともに円周方向に変位することを抑制するために、棘間靭帯を貫通する該係留構造の対向した部分を機械的に結合することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記係留構造の前記対向した部分は追従性部材を備え、該追従性部材は機械的に結合される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記追従性部材は、クロス部材によって連結される、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記クロス部材は、前記追従性部材に固定的に取り付けられる、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記クロス部材は、前記追従性部材に非固定的に取り付けられる、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記クロス部材の一端は、前記追従性部材に固定的に取り付けられ、他端は非固定的に取り付けられる、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記係留構造の前記対向した部分は、剛性のクロス部材と結合される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記係留構造の前記対向した部分は、非剛性のクロス部材と結合される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記係留構造の前記対向した部分は、弾性のクロス部材と結合される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記棘突起の伸展は、あまり抑制されない、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記棘間靭帯の完全性は、あまり損なわれない、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 別の対の隣接した椎骨上の棘突起の上に、少なくとも1つの追加の連続する係留構造を配置することと、前記棘間靭帯を貫通する該係留構造の対向した部分を機械的に結合することとをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
