Abstract
Description
図1は二重バルーンカテーテルの製造工程の例の一部を示す図である。工程は2つのバルーン、即ち内側バルーン101A及び個別の外側バルーン101Bから始まる。図1に2つのバルーン101A及び101Bの長尺方向における断面を示す。各バルーン101A及び101Bは長尺方向において開放された対向する端部104A乃至104D、並びに中央の径方向に膨張可能な部分107A及び107Bを有する。各バルーンは更に小径の基端部110A及び110B(即ち、首部)と、小径の末端部113A及び113Bと、内側表面114A及び114Bと、外側表面115A及び115Bとを有する。
Claims (20)
- 内側バルーンと外側バルーンがそれぞれ長手方向の対向する端部にて開放され、中央部において径方向に膨張可能な部分と、バルーンの長手方向の対向する端部にて小径の基端部及び末端部とを有し、同内側バルーンを別体の外側バルーン内に組み立てる工程と、
該外側バルーンの基端部の内側表面の一部を、内側バルーンの基端部の外側表面の一部に接合させる工程と、
長尺状カテーテルシャフトの末端部を、接合した内側バルーン及び外側バルーンの基端部に接合させる工程とを含むことを特徴とするカテーテルの製造方法。 - 前記カテーテルは凍結治療を施すカテーテルであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内側表面及び外側表面の間に長尺状管腔構造体を配置する工程を更に含み、前記内側表面及び外側表面の接合工程は内側表面及び外側表面の間の長尺状管腔構造体を使用して実施されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記接合した内側バルーン及び外側バルーンに末端部を接合させる工程は、外側バルーンの基端部の内側表面を、長尺状カテーテルシャフトの末端部の外側表面の一部に接合させる工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記長尺状カテーテルシャフトは管状構造体であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 長尺状ガイドワイヤルーメン構造体及び低温流体搬送器具からなるアセンブリを該長尺状カテーテルシャフト及び内側バルーンの内側の室内に案内する工程と、同アセンブリを長尺状カテーテルシャフト及び内側バルーン及び外側バルーンのうち少なくともいずれか1つに接合させる工程とを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記内側表面の一部を外側表面の一部に接合させる工程は、内側バルーンの基端部内の通路を通過して延びる堅固な長尺状にして、且つ円筒状の構造体を使用して実施され、これにより該通路は接合工程において圧壊されないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記堅固な長尺状にして、且つ円筒状の構造体はマンドレルであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記接合工程は外側バルーンの基端部の外側表面に圧力を作用させる工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の方法。
- 外側バルーン内に別体の内側バルーンを含むバルーンアセンブリと、該内側バルーン及び外側バルーンはそれぞれ中央部における径方向に膨張可能な部分、並びにバルーンの長手方向における対向する端部に小径の基端部及び末端部を有し、外側バルーンの基端部の内側表面の一部は内側バルーンの基端部の外側表面の一部に接合されることと、
該バルーンアセンブリの基端部に接合される末端部を有する長尺状カテーテルシャフトとを備えることを特徴とするカテーテル。 - 前記内側バルーン内に設けられる低温流体搬送器具を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカテーテル。
- ガイドワイヤルーメンを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記長尺状カテーテルシャフトを通じて延び、バルーンアセンブリの内側の室と連通する排出ルーメンを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記排出ルーメンは内側バルーン及び外側バルーンの間の室と連通することを特徴とする請求項13に記載のカテーテル。
- 外側バルーンの末端部の内側表面の一部は内側バルーンの末端部の外側表面の一部に接合されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記内側バルーンを通じて延びるガイドワイヤルーメンを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のカテーテル。
- 内側バルーンと外側バルーンがそれぞれ長手方向の対向する端部にて開放され、中央部において径方向に膨張可能な部分と、バルーンの長手方向の対向する端部にて小径の基端部とを有し、同内側バルーンを外側バルーン内に組み立てる工程と、
該外側バルーンの内側表面を、基端部及び末端部のうち少なくともいずれか1つにて、内側バルーンの基端部及び末端部のうち対応するものに接合させる工程と、
接合した内側バルーン及び外側バルーンの基端部に長尺状カテーテルシャフトの末端部を接合させる工程と、
長尺状ガイドワイヤルーメン構造体及び低温流体搬送器具からなるアセンブリを該長尺状カテーテルシャフト及び内側バルーン内に案内する工程とを含むことを特徴とする凍結療法のカテーテルの製造方法。 - 前記外側バルーンの内側表面を内側バルーンの外側表面に接合させる工程は同内側表面を外側表面にレーザー接着する工程を含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記末端部をシールし、末端部をアセンブリに接合させるべく内側バルーンの末端部にプラグを付加する工程を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記内側表面及び外側表面の間に長尺状管腔構造体を配置する工程を更に含み、前記内側表面及び外側表面の接合工程は内側表面及び外側表面の間の長尺状管腔構造体を使用して実施されることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
