Abstract
Description
カソード混合物スラリーを、カソード活性材料として酸化リチウムコバルト95重量%、導電性試剤2.5重量%、および結合剤2.5重量%を、溶剤としてN-メチル-2-ピロリドン(NMP)に加えることにより、調製した。アノード混合物スラリーを、アノード活性材料として人造グラファイト95重量%、導電性試剤1.5重量%、および結合剤3.5重量%を、溶剤としてNMPに加えることにより、調製した。カソード混合物スラリーを、アルミニウムホイル上に塗布し、次いで乾燥させ、プレスしてカソードを製造した。アノード混合物スラリーを、銅ホイル上に塗布し、次いで乾燥させ、プレスしてカソードを製造した。
電極アセンブリーを、図1に示すような段差が無い小袋形バッテリーケース中に取り付けた以外は、例1と同じ様式でバッテリーを製造した。
例1および比較例1により製造したバッテリーに落下実験を行った。実験結果を下記の表1に示す。落下実験は、各例に対して32個のバッテリーを使用して繰り返し行った。落下実験で、バッテリーは、各バッテリーの、電極タブ-電極リード線連結部分が形成されている上側末端が地面と衝突するように、高さ1.5 mから自由に落下させた。

例1および比較例1により製造したそれぞれのバッテリーケースに取り付けた電極アセンブリーに対して、強制移動実験を行った。実験の前後における電極アセンブリーと対応するバッテリーケースとの間の位置的関係を、図7および8に示す。外部の衝撃をバッテリーに加える前と後における、電極アセンブリーと対応するバッテリーケースとの間の大体の間隔を写真に示す。

- 二次バッテリーであって、
バッテリーケースの受入部分に取り付けられ、電極リード線に接合された複数の電極タブを有する電極アセンブリーを包含するものであり、
前記バッテリーケースが、
前記電極アセンブリーの電極タブ-電極リード線連結部分(カソード端子部分及びアノード端子部分)の間に前記バッテリーケースの前記受入部分の内側上側末端に、及び、
前記電極アセンブリーの対向側部に対応する、前記バッテリーケースの前記受入部分の内側対向側部に、形成された凹状段差を有してなり、
前記電極アセンブリーが前記凹状段差と緊密に接触してなる、二次バッテリー。 - 前記電極アセンブリーが、積重または積重/折り曲げ型構造に構築される、請求項1に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記バッテリーケースに、前記電極端子間で形成された前記段差(上側末端段差)が、前記電極アセンブリーの前記上側末端に達する長さを有する、請求項1に記載の二次バッテリー。
