Abstract
Description
カソード混合物スラリーを、カソード活性材料として酸化リチウムコバルト95重量%、導電性試剤2.5重量%、および結合剤2.5重量%を、溶剤としてN-メチル-2-ピロリドン(NMP)に加えることにより、調製した。アノード混合物スラリーを、アノード活性材料として人造グラファイト95重量%、導電性試剤1.5重量%、および結合剤3.5重量%を、溶剤としてNMPに加えることにより、調製した。カソード混合物スラリーを、アルミニウムホイル上に塗布し、次いで乾燥させ、プレスしてカソードを製造した。アノード混合物スラリーを、銅ホイル上に塗布し、次いで乾燥させ、プレスしてカソードを製造した。
電極アセンブリーを、図1に示すような段差が無い小袋形バッテリーケース中に取り付けた以外は、例1と同じ様式でバッテリーを製造した。
例1および比較例1により製造したバッテリーに落下実験を行った。実験結果を下記の表1に示す。落下実験は、各例に対して32個のバッテリーを使用して繰り返し行った。落下実験で、バッテリーは、各バッテリーの、電極タブ-電極リード線連結部分が形成されている上側末端が地面と衝突するように、高さ1.5 mから自由に落下させた。

例1および比較例1により製造したそれぞれのバッテリーケースに取り付けた電極アセンブリーに対して、強制移動実験を行った。実験の前後における電極アセンブリーと対応するバッテリーケースとの間の位置的関係を、図7および8に示す。外部の衝撃をバッテリーに加える前と後における、電極アセンブリーと対応するバッテリーケースとの間の大体の間隔を写真に示す。
Claims (13)
- 二次バッテリーであって、
バッテリーケースの受入部分に取り付けられ、電極リード線に接合された複数の電極タブを有する電極アセンブリーを包含するものであり、
前記バッテリーケースが、
前記電極アセンブリーの電極タブ-電極リード線連結部分(カソード端子部分及びアノード端子部分)の間に前記バッテリーケースの前記受入部分の内側上側末端に、及び、
前記電極アセンブリーの対向側部に対応する、前記バッテリーケースの前記受入部分の内側対向側部に、形成された凹状段差を有してなり、
前記電極アセンブリーが前記凹状段差と緊密に接触してなる、二次バッテリー。 - 前記電極アセンブリーが、積重または積重/折り曲げ型構造に構築される、請求項1に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記バッテリーケースに、前記電極端子間で形成された前記段差(上側末端段差)が、前記電極アセンブリーの前記上側末端に達する長さを有する、請求項1に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記バッテリーケースの対向側部に形成された前記段差(側部段差)が、前記電極アセンブリーの長さの20〜80%に相当する長さを有し、
前記側部段差が、前記バッテリーケースの、上側及び下側末端角部を除いた予め決められた位置に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載の二次バッテリー。 - 前記側部段差が、前記電極アセンブリーの長さの60〜80%に相当する長さを有し、
前記側部段差が、前記バッテリーケースの、上側及び下側末端角部を除いた予め決められた位置に形成されてなる、請求項4に記載の二次バッテリー。 - 前記電極アセンブリーの仮想水平中央線が通る、一個の側部段差が前記バッテリーケースに形成されてなる、請求項4に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記電極アセンブリーの仮想中央線が対称的構造で通る、二個の側部段差が前記バッテリーケースに形成される、請求項4に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記段差が、前記電極アセンブリーを前記バッテリーケースの前記受入部分中に取り付けた後、又は前記バッテリーケースが密封された後に、後処理工程で形成される、請求項1に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記バッテリーケースの前記受入部分が絞り製法により形成される時に、前記段差が同時に形成される、請求項1に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記バッテリーケースが、金属層及び樹脂層を包含するラミネートシートから製造され、前記電極アセンブリーが前記バッテリーケースの前記受入部分中に取り付けられた後、前記バッテリーケースが熱溶接により密封される、請求項1に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記バッテリーケースが前記熱溶接により密封される時に、前記熱溶接が前記段差区域にも行われる、請求項10に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記シートがアルミニウムラミネートシートである、請求項10に記載の二次バッテリー。
- 前記バッテリーがリチウムイオン重合体バッテリーである、請求項1に記載の二次バッテリー。
