Abstract
【解決手段】連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーターは、運転情報検出部と、排気ガス温度測定部と、排気ガス中に含まれているNOx濃度測定部と、燃焼室の燃焼圧を測定する燃焼圧測定部と、吸/排気バルブの位置及び開閉タイミングを連続可変制御する制御部と、制御部の制御によって吸/排気バルブを作動させるアクチュエーターと、を有して構成される。制御方法は、運転者の運転意図と燃焼状況を認識する過程と、吸/排気バルブの目標位置及び開閉タイミングを決定する過程と、吸/排気バルブの位置及び開閉タイミングを制御する過程と、燃焼圧によって燃料量を補正する過程とでなる。

Description
ウォームアップ触媒コンバーター220は、ターボチャージャー210の後端に接続され、排気ガスに含まれている炭化水素及び一酸化炭素(CO)を酸化して二酸化炭素(CO2)にしている。
選択的還元触媒240は、還元剤噴射ノズル260から噴射された還元剤を利用して排気ガス内の窒素酸化物(NOx)を還元して窒素(N2)にしている。
本発明によるディーゼルエンジンのCVVA制御装置は、運転情報検出部10、排気ガス温度測定部20、NOx濃度測定部30、燃焼圧測定部40、吸/排気バルブ位置検出部50、制御部60、及びアクチュエーター70を含む構成である。
吸/排気バルブ位置検出部50は、CVVAの動作によってリフトと開閉タイミングが連続的に変化する吸/排気バルブの位置を検出して、その情報を制御部60に送る。
ここで、目標位置に正常に制御が行われている状態(Yes)であれば、各燃焼室206のグロープラグ近傍に配置された燃焼圧測定部40によって各燃焼室の燃焼圧を測定し(S110)、燃焼圧によって燃料量の補正を行い(S111)、これにより排気ガスのNOx濃度が最少となり排気ガスが適正化される(S112)。一方、目標位置に正常に制御が行われていない状態(No)であるときには、吸/排気バルブの目標位置の計算段階(S105)に戻り、吸/排気バルブの位置を補正することによって、連続的な可変制御が行われる。

- 車両の運転状況に関する運転情報を検出する運転情報検出部と、
排気ガスの温度を測定する排気ガス温度測定部と、
排気ガス中に含まれているNOxの濃度を測定するNOx濃度測定部と、
燃焼室の燃焼圧を測定する燃焼圧測定部と、
吸/排気バルブの位置を検出する吸/排気バルブ位置検出部と、
前記運転情報から運転者の運転意図を認識し、排気ガスの温度及びNOxの量によってエンジンの燃焼状況を認識した後、設定された行程表に適用して、前記運転意図及び前記燃焼状況に応じた前記吸/排気バルブの目標位置及び開閉タイミングを決定して、前記吸/排気バルブの位置及び開閉タイミングを連続可変制御する制御部と、

アクセルペダルの位置を認識するアクセルペダル位置センサーと、を有してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御装置。 - 前記排気ガス温度測定部は、ターボチャージャーを作動させる排気ガスの温度を測定する第1温度センサーと、ウォームアップ触媒コンバーターの入口側の排気ガスの温度を測定する第2温度センサーと、ディーゼル微粒子除去フィルターの入口側の排気ガスの温度を測定する第3温度センサーと、還元剤噴射位置の排気ガスの温度を測定する第4温度センサーと、を有してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御装置。
- 前記NOx濃度測定部は、前記選択的還元触媒の前端に配置された第1NOxセンサーと、前記選択的還元触媒の後端に配置された第2NOxセンサーと、を有してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御装置。
- 前記制御部は、吸/排気バルブの位置及び開閉タイミングを連続可変制御が行われている状態で、燃焼室の燃焼圧によって燃料量を補正することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御装置。
- 前記制御部は、吸気バルブの開タイミングを固定制御し、閉タイミングを遅延制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御装置。
- 前記制御部は、排気バルブの開タイミングを短縮制御して、排気ガスの温度の上昇、触媒の活性化時間の短縮、トルク応答性の向上をすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御装置。
- 前記制御部は、排気バルブの開タイミングを遅延制御して、燃焼室の膨張比を向上させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御装置。
- 前記制御部は、排気バルブの閉タイミングを短縮制御して、冷始動性を向上させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御装置。
- 車両の運転状況に関する運転情報を検出し、排気ガスの温度を測定し、排気ガスに含まれているNOx濃度を測定して、運転者の運転意図と燃焼状況を認識する過程と、
前記運転意図とエンジンの燃焼状況を、予め設定された行程表に適用して、吸/排気バルブの目標位置及び開閉タイミングを決定する過程と、
アクチュエーターを作動させて、前記吸/排気バルブの位置及び開閉タイミングを制御する過程と、
燃焼圧を測定して、前記燃焼圧によって燃料量を補正する過程と、を有することを特徴とするディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御方法。 - 前記排気ガスの温度は、ターボチャージャーの前端に供給された排気ガス、ウォームアップ触媒コンバーターの前端に供給された排気ガス、ディーゼル微粒子除去フィルターの前端に供給された排気ガス、還元剤噴射位置における排気ガスのそれぞれで測定されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御方法。
- 吸/排気バルブの前記開閉タイミングは、
排気ガスの安定化及び燃費の向上のために吸気バルブの開タイミングを固定制御し、閉タイミングを遅延制御する過程と、
排気ガスの温度の上昇、触媒の活性化時間の短縮、トルク応答性の向上のために排気バルブの開タイミングを短縮制御する過程と、
燃焼室の膨張比の向上のために排気バルブの開タイミングを遅延制御する過程と、
冷始動性の向上ために排気バルブの閉タイミングを短縮制御する過程と、を有することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のディーゼルエンジンの連続可変バルブリフトアクチュエーター制御方法。
