Abstract

Claims (10)
- 放電加工(EDM)デバイス(100)であって、
円形ブレード(102)と、
円形ブレード(102)に連結された、円形ブレード(102)を回転させるモータ(104)と、
円形ブレード(102)及び被加工物(110)に動作可能に連結された、放電加工を使用して回転式円形ブレード(102)に被加工物(110)を切削させる放電制御系(106)と
を備えてなるデバイス。 - 円形ブレード(102)及び被加工物(110)の少なくとも一方を、円形ブレード(102)及び被加工物(110)の他方に対して三次元で移動させる自在移動系(132)(130)をさらに備えてなる、請求項1記載のEDMデバイス。
- 円形ブレード(102)をモータ(104)に連結する駆動スピンドル(160)であって、テーパー面(166)(252)を有する開口部(168)を含む駆動スピンドル(160)と、
放電制御系(106)に電気的に連結された電気接続器であって、テーパー面(166)(252)と噛合して係合する外表面(166)(252)を含む接触器と
をさらに備えてなる、請求項1記載のEDMデバイス。 - 円形ブレード(102)の磨耗を検出する磨耗センサ(136)をさらに備えてなる、請求項1記載のEDMデバイス。
- 回転式円形ブレード(102)と被加工物(110)との間の界面(252)に機械加工流体(142)を送達する流体ノズルをさらに備えてなる、請求項1記載のEDMデバイス。
- 円形ブレード(102)がほぼ平面であり、円形ブレード(102)の外周縁部(146)が被加工物(110)を切削する、請求項1記載のEDMデバイス。
- 円形ブレード(102)が、ほぼ平面のベース(372)を有する皿形(370)と、平面のベース(372)からほぼ垂直に延在する円筒状のリム(374)とを有し、円筒状のリム(374)の面削り末端縁部(376)が被加工物(110)を切削する、請求項1記載のEDMデバイス。

円形ブレードの面(252)にある、第1の厚さを有する陥凹区域(250)と、
