Abstract
【解決手段】顔料、顔料分散剤、重合性化合物の一部、及びヒンダートアミン系重合禁止剤を混合撹拌して混合物を調製し、混合物を分散メディアで分散することにより顔料分散液を調製し、顔料分散液、重合性化合物の残部、及び光重合開始剤を混合撹拌して、インク組成物を製造する。

Description
前記混合物を分散メディアで分散することにより顔料分散液を調製し、
前記顔料分散液、重合性化合物の残部、及び光重合開始剤を混合撹拌して、インク組成物を製造するエネルギー線硬化型インクジェットインク組成物の製造方法である。
プラスチック製ビンに、顔料、顔料分散剤、重合性化合物、及び重合禁止剤を表2〜3に示す配合量で計り取り、混合撹拌して混合物を調製した。この混合物にジルコニアビーズ(直径:0.3mm)100部を加えて、ペイントコンディショナー(東洋精機社製)により2時間分散した。分散後、グラスフィルター(桐山製作所製)を用いて、内容物を吸引ろ過し、顔料分散液を調製した。
調製直後の顔料分散液の粘度を、R100型粘度計(東機産業社製)を用いて、25℃、コーンの回転数20rpmの条件下で、測定した。
調製直後の顔料分散液中の顔料の分散平均粒子径を、粒度分布測定装置FPER−1000(大塚電子社製)を用いて、測定した。
調製直後の顔料分散液を70℃の条件下で5日間保存し、保存後の顔料分散液の粘度を上記と同様にして測定し、粘度変化、及びゲル化の有無を観察して、下記の基準で保存安定性を評価した。
○:20%未満の粘度増加
△:20%以上、40%未満の粘度増加
×:顔料分散液がゲル化
また、同様にして保存した後の顔料分散液中の顔料の分散平均粒子径を上記と同様にして測定し、下記の基準で保存安定性を評価した。
○:10%未満の分散平均粒子径の増加
×:10%以上の分散平均粒子径の増加
次に、上記のようにして調製した直後の顔料分散液及び保存安定性を評価した保存後の顔料分散液をそれぞれ用いて、最終組成が下記表4に示すインク組成となるよう各顔料分散液を希釈し、各インクを製造した。なお、このとき実施例1〜10、比較例9、及び比較例10では、顔料分散液の調製時に使用した重合禁止剤と同じ重合禁止剤を使用し、比較例1〜8では、重合禁止剤としてIRGACURE UV−10を使用した。
製造直後のインクを60℃の条件下で30日間保存し、保存後のインクの粘度を上記と同様にして測定し、粘度変化、及びゲル化の有無を観察して、下記の基準で保存安定性を評価した。
○:5%未満の粘度増加
△:5以上、10%未満の粘度増加
×:10%以上の粘度増加
また、同様にして保存した後のインク中の顔料の分散平均粒子径を測定し、下記の基準で保存安定性を評価した。
○:10%未満の分散平均粒子径の増加
×:10%以上の分散平均粒子径の増加
Claims (3)
- 顔料、顔料分散剤、重合性化合物の一部、及びヒンダートアミン系重合禁止剤を混合撹拌して混合物を調製し、
前記混合物を分散メディアで分散することにより顔料分散液を調製し、
前記顔料分散液、重合性化合物の残部、及び光重合開始剤を混合撹拌して、インク組成物を製造するエネルギー線硬化型インクジェットインク組成物の製造方法。 - 前記ヒンダートアミン系重合禁止剤は、N−ヒドロキシ−2,2,6,6−テトラメチルピペリジニル基を有するヒンダードアミン系重合禁止剤を含有する請求項1に記載のエネルギー線硬化型インクジェットインク組成物の製造方法。
- 請求項1または2に記載の製造方法によって製造されるエネルギー線硬化型インクジェットインク組成物。
