Description

なお、上記のような新規参照画像の生成においては、式（１）に示すとおり、観測行列Ｃはベクトルｘｔ，ｘｔ＋１，ｘｔ＋２，ｘｔ＋３，ｘｔ＋４から求められており、フレームメモリ１０４に過去に参照画像生成部１１３によって追加された新規参照画像は用いられていない。但し、新規参照画像の信頼度が高い場合には観測行列Ｃなどの算出にそれを用いてもよい。また、新規参照画像の生成においては、特異値分解以外の方法を用いてもよい。例えば、固有値分解、ＬＵ分解、コレスキ分解が挙げられる。

Claims (1)

  1. 前記位置設定ステップでは、前記参照画像リストに前記新規参照画像が含まれない場合には、前記新規参照画像が前記参照画像リストに含まれないことを示す前記位置情報を生成し、
    前記エントロピー符号化ステップでは、前記新規参照画像が前記参照画像リストに含まれないことを示す前記位置情報をエントロピー符号化し、
    前記予測信号生成ステップでは、前記新規参照画像を含まないように前記参照画像リストを更新する、
    ことを特徴とする請求項２９又は３０に記載の動画像符号化方法。
