Abstract
【解決手段】正極2及び負極3がセパレータ4を介して電池ケース1内に収納され、電池ケース1内に収納された負極3の高さは、正極2の高さよりも低くなっている。正極2は、電解二酸化マンガンと黒鉛とを含み、電解二酸化マンガンの電位は、酸化水銀(Hg/HgO)の参照電極に対して、220〜290mVの範囲にある。

Claims (6)
- 正極及び負極がセパレータを介して電池ケース内に収納されてなるアルカリ電池であって、
前記電池ケース内に収納された前記負極の高さは、前記正極の高さよりも低くなっており、
前記正極は、電解二酸化マンガンと黒鉛とを含み、
前記電解二酸化マンガンの電位は、酸化水銀(Hg/HgO)の参照電極に対して、220〜290mVの範囲にある、アルカリ電池。 - 前記電解二酸化マンガンと前記黒鉛との重量配合比は、90:10〜94:6の範囲にある、請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記アルカリ電池の初期開路電圧は、1.60〜1.64Vの範囲にある、請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記負極は、亜鉛粉末を含み、粒径が75μm以下の亜鉛粉末の含有率が、21〜40%の範囲にある、請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記負極は、亜鉛粉末を含むゲル状負極からなり、該ゲル状負極の密度が、2.35〜2.65g/cm3の範囲にある、請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
- 前記電池ケース内に収納された前記負極の高さの前記正極の高さに対する比は、0.85〜0.975の範囲にある、請求項1に記載のアルカリ電池。
