Abstract
【解決手段】画像発生機内にある1個又は複数個のプリントヘッドにインクを供給するインク溜めアセンブリのうち、流動化させた相変化インク等を開口474越しに受け入れて蓄えプリントヘッドに供給する役目を担うインクリザーバ404を、頂部450、底部454及び複数枚の側壁464,468を有するハウジングで全体に亘り又は部分的に覆う。頂部450及び底部454に案内溝480を形成し、その溝480にマイカパネル488,490の縁をはめ込み側壁464,468を形成することで、少なくとも一部の側壁をパネル488,490による二重壁構造にする。側壁リザーバ間空隙484及び内外パネル間空隙494の厚みは溝480等の働きで保持される。

Claims (4)
- プリントヘッドを1個又は複数個備える画像発生機に少なくとも1個組み込まれ、流動性のあるインクを受け入れるための開口及びその開口を介し入ってきたインクをある分量を限度に蓄える室を有し、その室内のインクを1個又は複数個のプリントヘッドに供給可能なインクリザーバと、
対応する1個又は複数個のインクリザーバの全体又は一部を覆うべく、そのインクリザーバの上方に位置する頂部及び下方に位置する底部並びにそれら頂部底部間に上下に延びる複数枚の側壁を有するハウジングと、
を備え、
そのハウジングの側壁が、その側壁と直近のインクリザーバとの間に空隙が発生しその厚みが保持されるよう、当該ハウジングの頂部及び底部に形成された案内溝にその縁がはめ込まれたマイカパネルによって形成されており、
そのハウジングの側壁のうち少なくとも1枚が、更に外側のマイカパネルと内側のマイカパネルとの間にも空隙が発生しその空隙の厚みも保持されるよう、当該ハウジングの頂部及び底部に形成された複数本の案内溝にそれぞれその縁がはめ込まれた複数枚のマイカパネルによって形成されているインク溜めアセンブリ。 - 請求項1記載のインク溜めアセンブリであって、そのインクリザーバが、相変化インクを熔融させて得られる流動化インクを受け入れ画像発生機内の相変化インクプリントヘッドに供給するよう構成されたインク溜めアセンブリ。
- 請求項2記載のインク溜めアセンブリであって、そのインクリザーバが、その室内に蓄えている流動化インクを加熱しその温度を固化温度以上に保つ加熱器を有するインク溜めアセンブリ。
- 請求項3記載のインク溜めアセンブリであって、インクリザーバが4個あり、各インクリザーバが、互いに別の種類の流動化インクを自インクリザーバの開口越しに受け入れ自インクリザーバの室内に保持するインク溜めアセンブリ。
