Abstract
【解決手段】無接点電力伝送システムの送電装置に設けられる送電制御装置は、送電装置を制御する制御部を含み、制御部は、無接点電力伝送のネゴシエーション処理を行うネゴシエーション処理部と、前記ネゴシエーション処理の結果に基づいて、無接点電力伝送のセットアップ処理を行うセットアップ処理部とを含み、セットアップ処理の後に、送電装置から受電装置への通常送電を開始する。

Description
図1(A)に本実施形態の無接点電力伝送手法が適用される電子機器の例を示す。電子機器の1つである充電器500(クレードル)は送電装置10を有する。また電子機器の1つである携帯電話機510は受電装置40を有する。また携帯電話機510は、LCDなどの表示部512、ボタン等で構成される操作部514、マイク516(音入力部)、スピーカ518(音出力部)、アンテナ520を有する。
図2に本実施形態の送電装置10、送電制御装置20、受電装置40、受電制御装置50の構成例を示す。図1(A)の充電器500などの送電側の電子機器は、図2の送電装置10を含む。また携帯電話機510などの受電側の電子機器は、受電装置40と負荷90(本負荷)を含むことができる。そして図2の構成により、例えば1次コイルL1と2次コイルL2を電磁的に結合させて送電装置10から受電装置40に対して電力を伝送し、負荷90に対して電力を供給する無接点電力伝送(非接触電力伝送)システムが実現される。
図3に、本実施形態により実現される無接点電力伝送の処理シーケンスの概略を模式的に示す。
さて、無接点電力伝送が普及すると、受電側の2次コイルとして様々なタイプのものが市場に出回ることが予想される。即ち、受電側である携帯電話機等の電気機器の外形・サイズは様々であるため、これに応じて、電子機器の受電装置に内蔵される2次コイルの外形・サイズも様々なものになる。また各電子機器が必要とする無接点電力伝送の電力量(ワット数)や出力電圧も様々であるため、これに応じて2次コイルのインダクタンス等も様々なものになる。
次に本実施形態の動作について図7(A)〜図11(C)を用いて詳細に説明する。
図12に本実施形態の詳細な構成例を示す。なお以下では図2で説明した構成要素については同符号を付し、適宜、その説明については省略する。
次に、送電側と受電側の動作の詳細について図14、図15のフローチャートを用いて説明する。
図16(A)において、コイルの特性を表すコイルパラメータとしては、コイルの内径、外径、コイル面積などがある。ここでは、1次コイルについては、コイルパラメータが固定された1つのコイルを用意し、2次コイルについては、コイルパラメータが異なる様々なコイルを用意して、測定を行っている。

- 1次コイルと2次コイルを電磁的に結合させて送電装置から受電装置に対して電力を伝送し、前記受電装置の負荷に対して電力を供給する無接点電力伝送システムにおける送電制御装置であって、
送電制御装置の制御を行う制御部を含み、
前記制御部は、
無接点電力伝送のネゴシエーション処理を行うネゴシエーション処理部と、
前記ネゴシエーション処理の結果に基づいて、無接点電力伝送のセットアップ処理を行うセットアップ処理部とを含み、
前記セットアップ処理の後に、前記送電装置から前記受電装置への通常送電を開始することを特徴とする送電制御装置。 - 請求項1において、

前記セットアップ処理は、
前記ネゴシエーション処理の結果に基づいて前記電力の伝送条件を設定する処理、及び前記送電装置と前記受電装置の間の対応機能について情報交換を行う処理のうちの少なくとも1つであることを特徴とする送電制御方法。 - 1次コイルと2次コイルを電磁的に結合させて送電装置から受電装置に対して電力を伝送し、前記受電装置の負荷に対して電力を供給する無接点電力伝送システムにおける受電制御方法であって、
無接点電力伝送のネゴシエーション処理を行い、
前記ネゴシエーション処理の結果に基づいて、無接点電力伝送のセットアップ処理を行い、
前記セットアップ処理の後に、前記送電装置から前記受電装置への通常送電が開始した場合に、前記負荷に対する電力供給を開始することを特徴とする受電制御方法。
