Abstract
【解決手段】押出機1は、ベント口14と真空ポンプ5とを接続するための真空配管6を備え、揮発成分を回収するために真空配管6の途中に還流管18と脱揮物回収容器8とを備えている。押出機1の出口の圧力とシリンダ15の内部の圧力との圧力差を小さくするために減圧容器2の圧力を調整する圧力調整手段が設けられている。圧力調整手段として減圧容器2と押出機1の内部とが二系統の流路で接続されている。真空配管6、材料吐出流路7、圧力調整流路9にはそれぞれバルブ10が配備されており、適宜流路を切り替えて任意の減圧容器2に材料を吐出することができるようになっている。

減圧容器2へ吐出物である乳酸オリゴマーが連続的に吐出され、ほぼ脱揮物であるラクチドが約100wt%の濃度で脱揮物回収容器へ回収された。また、二系統の脱揮物回収系統および減圧容器を適宜バルブで切り替えることにより、連続的に材料の減圧処理を行うことが可能であった。
減圧容器あるいは圧力調整流路を使用しない装置を用いた。その他は実施例を同様な装置および条件で同じ材料Aの減圧処理を行った。

Claims (4)
- 温度調節可能なシリンダと、前記シリンダ内に回転自在に配備されたスクリュと、前記スクリュを回転させる回転駆動機構とを備えた押出機において、
前記シリンダ内を減圧しかつ脱揮物を排出させるためのベント口と、
前記ベント口より排出された前記脱揮物を減圧状態で回収するための脱揮物回収容器と、
前記脱揮物が除去された材料を吐出する材料吐出流路と、
前記材料吐出流路より吐出した材料を減圧状態で回収するための減圧容器と、
前記減圧容器と前記シリンダ内部との圧力差を小さくする圧力調整手段と、を有することを特徴とする減圧押出装置。 - 前記圧力調整手段が、前記減圧容器と前記シリンダ内部とを接続する2系統以上の流路からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の減圧押出装置。
- 前記材料吐出流路にたいし、それぞれ流路を介して接続された前記減圧容器を2個以上備えたことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の減圧押出装置。
- 前記押出機が、ニ軸スクリュ押出機であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の減圧押出装置。
