Claims (9)
- 山形切刃(6)の角(14)の辺を形成する、少なくとも1つの内側切刃(8)と外側切刃(9)とを有するドリル(1)用切削インサートであって、
小突起状隆起部(10)が前記角(14)の頂点に設けられ、前記隆起部(10)の側逃げ面が、前記内側切刃(8)および前記外側切刃(9)に直接つながるそれぞれの隆起切刃(11、12)を形成することを特徴とするドリル(1)用切削インサート。 - 前記内側切刃(8)につながる隆起内側切刃(11)と、前記外側切刃(9)につながる隆起外側切刃(12)において、前記隆起内側切刃(11)と前記隆起外側切刃(12)との間の内角(13)が、前記内側切刃(8)と前記外側切刃(9)との間の前記角(14)より小さくなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記内角(13)の頂点は、前記隆起内側切刃(11)と隆起外側切刃(12)との間との間で小突起ノーズ(15)として丸みであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記内側切刃(8)および前記外側切刃(9)ならびに前記隆起内側切刃(11)および前記隆起外側切刃(12)が、互いに対して対称的に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記内側切刃(8)および前記外側切刃(9)ならびに前記隆起内側切刃(11)および前記隆起外側切刃(12)が、前記小突起ノーズ(15)に対して対称的に配置されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の切削インサート。
- 作業中に生じる切削力が相殺するように、前記切刃(8、9、11、12)が互いに対して非対称的に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の切削インサート。
- 前記隆起部(10)に割り当てられた前記逃げ面の領域内の隙間を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の切削インサート。
- 2つ以上の切刃(6)を有するスローアウェイチップとしての請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の切削インサート。
- スローアウェイチップとして構成された切削インサート(5)が、非使用切刃(6)の少なくとも1つの隆起部(10)が、インサート座(4)の2つの刃体座面(7)間に配置された角穴(17)内に少なくとも部分的に到着するように、ドリル工具(1)の前記インサート座(4)内に配置されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の切削インサート。
