(FexOy) + y[C] = y{CO} + x[Fe]
(CaCO3) = (CaO) + {CO2}
最適な結果は、金属溶融物1トン(1,000kg)当たり及び1分間当たりで5〜15kgの混合物を添加した際に達成することができる。この際、好ましくは、FeCrHCを40〜70重量%、特に50〜60重量%の割合で含む混合物が使用される。

Claims (14)
- 冶金炉(3)において金属溶融物(2)に発泡スラグ(1)を生成するにあたり、少なくとも一種の金属酸化物及び炭素を含む混合物(4)を炉(3)中に投入し、この際、そこに存在するスラグ(1)の下で、前記金属酸化物が炭素によって還元され、そしてこの還元で生じたガスがスラグ中に気泡を生じさせ、それによって、スラグが発泡される方法であって、炉(3)への混合物(4)の装入が、発泡スラグ(1)の層の所望の高さ(h)または発泡スラグ(1)の層の高さ(h)の所望の範囲が生ずるかまたは維持されるように行われることを特徴とする、前記方法。
- 混合物(4)の装入が連続的に行われることを特徴とする、請求項1の方法。
- 混合物(4)の装入が所定の時間間隔をあけて行われることを特徴とする、請求項1の方法。
- 混合物(4)の装入が、1分間当たり及び金属溶融物(2)1トン当たりで3〜20kgの量で行われることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一つの方法。
- 混合物(4)の装入が、1分間当たり及び金属溶融物(2)1トン当たりで5〜15kgの量で行われることを特徴とする、請求項4の方法。
- 混合物(4)の装入が、金属溶融物(2)の表面上で15〜35kg/m2の混合物量が保たれるように行われることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つの方法。
- 混合物(4)の装入が、金属溶融物(2)の表面上で20〜30kg/m2の混合物量が保たれるように行われることを特徴とする、請求項6の方法。
- 混合物(4)が、金属溶融物(2)及びスラグ(1)の間に入れられることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一つの方法。
- 冶金炉(3)として、電極を備える電気アーク炉または溶解装置が使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか一つの方法。
- 上方から見て概ね円形に作られた炉(3)の壁(5)及び概ね中央に配置された、炉(3)の少なくとも一つの電極(6)において、混合物(4)の装入が、電極(6)と壁(5)との間の円環状表面上に行われることを特徴とする、請求項9の方法。
- 混合物(4)の装入が、前記円環状表面の半径方向中央部の領域で行われることを特徴とする、請求項10の方法。
- 混合物(4)が、更に、鉄及びクロムを含むキャリア材料を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜11のいずれか一つの方法。
- 混合物(4)が、更に、結合材を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜12のいずれか一つの方法。
- 混合物(4)が、ブリケット状物またはペレット状物として形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜13のいずれか一つの方法。
