Claims (38)
- 送信機及び受信機を含む無線通信システムにおいて、同等でない変調方式及び符号化率(MCS)を用いて空間データ処理を実施する方法であって、
前記方法は、
少なくとも1つの入力データから複数のデータストリームを生成するステップと、
前記データストリームの少なくとも1つに空間処理を実行して複数の空間ストリームを生成するステップと、
複数の送信アンテナを通して前記空間ストリームを送信するステップと
を含み、
各データストリームに対するMCSは他と関係なく選択されることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記空間処理を前記データストリームの一部だけに実行することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 空間処理が実行されるデータストリームに対するMCSは、空間処理が実行されないデータストリームに対するMCSとは異なることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記空間処理は前記データストリームの少なくとも1つに実行する時空間ブロック符号化(STBC)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記データストリームの前記STBCに関する1対のシンボルを同じ周波数にマッピングすることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記データストリームの前記STBCに関する1対のシンボルを異なる周波数にマッピングすることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記空間処理は、前記データストリームの少なくとも1つに実行される時空間ブロック符号化(STBC)、空間周波数ブロック符号化(SFBC)、擬似直交アラモウチ符号化、及び時間反転時空間ブロック符号化の少なくとも1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 線形空間処理を前記データストリームに実行することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 循環遅延ダイバーシティ(CDD)を前記空間ストリームに実行することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- アンテナマッピング行列を前記空間ストリームに掛けることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記アンテナマッピング行列は恒等行列であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記アンテナマッピング行列は空間拡散用であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。

- 前記アンテナマッピング行列はチャネル固有ベクトル集合を含むことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の方法。
- 各データストリームに対する前記MCSを前記データストリームに関連する各空間ストリームの信号対雑音比に基づき決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの受信アンテナで前記空間ストリームを受信するステップと
チャネル推定を実行してチャネル行列を生成するステップと、
前記チャネル行列を使用して前記受信空間ストリームを復号し前記入力データを取り出すステップと
をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記受信データストリームを復号するために、最小平均二乗誤差(MMSE)復号化を使用することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記受信データストリームを復号するために、ゼロフォーシング(ZF)復号化を使用することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記無線通信システムは直交周波数分割多重(OFDM)システムであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。

複数のデータストリームの少なくとも1つに空間処理を実行する空間プロセッサと、
前記データストリームを送信するための複数の送信アンテナと
を備え、
各データストリームに対するMCSは他と関係なく選択されることを特徴とする送信機。 - 前記空間プロセッサは、前記データストリームの一部だけの空間処理を実行するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の送信機。
- 空間処理が実行されるデータストリームに対するMCSは、空間処理が実行されないデータストリームに対するMCSとは異なることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の送信機。
- 前記空間プロセッサが、前記データストリームの少なくとも1つに時空間ブロック符号化(STBC)を実行するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の送信機。
- 前記空間プロセッサが、前記データストリームの前記STBCに関する1対のシンボルを同じ周波数にマッピングするように構成されることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の送信機。
- 前記空間プロセッサが、前記データストリームの前記STBCに関する1対のシンボルを異なる周波数にマッピングするように構成されることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の送信機。
- 前記空間プロセッサは、前記データストリームの少なくとも1つに時空間ブロック符号化(STBC)、空間周波数ブロック符号化(SFBC)、擬似直交アラモウチ符号化、及び時間反転時空間ブロック符号化の少なくとも1つを実行するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の送信機。
- 前記空間プロセッサが、前記データストリームに線形空間処理を実行するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項21に記載の送信機。
- 前記空間プロセッサが、前記空間ストリームに循環遅延ダイバーシティ(CDD)を実行するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項28に記載の送信機。
- 前記空間プロセッサが、アンテナマッピング行列を前記空間ストリームに適用するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項28に記載の送信機。
- 前記アンテナマッピング行列は恒等行列であることを特徴とする請求項30に記載の送信機。
- 前記アンテナマッピング行列は空間拡散用であることを特徴とする請求項30に記載の送信機。
- 前記アンテナマッピング行列はチャネル固有ステアリング行列であることを特徴とする請求項30に記載の送信機。

前記チャネル行列を使用して前記受信空間ストリームを復号する空間復号部と
を備え、
前記空間ストリームにマッピングされた各データストリームに対するMCSが送信機において他と関係なく選択されることを特徴とする受信機。 - 前記空間復号部が、前記受信空間ストリームを復号するために最小平均二乗誤差(MMSE)復号化を実行するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項36に記載の受信機。
- 前記空間復号部が、前記受信空間ストリームを復号するためにゼロフォーシング(ZF)復号化を実行するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項36に記載の受信機。
