Claims (30)
- バイアルの開口部を覆って配置された穿孔可能なシールを含むバイアル・クロージャを有する前記バイアルにアクセスするためのバイアル・アダプタであって、
前記バイアル・アダプタを前記バイアルに固定して取り付けるための、前記バイアルと係合する取付け装置を有するハウジングと、
薬剤口及び通気口を有する本体部分であり、薬剤用管腔が前記薬剤口につながり、通気用管腔が前記通気口につながり、前記薬剤用管腔及び通気用管腔が互いに離れている本体部分と、
バイアルの内容物にアクセスするために、前記バイアル・クロージャのシールを穿孔する鋭利な先端部を有し、前記ハウジング内に位置するカニューレであり、前記本体の薬剤用管腔と流体連通した薬剤用管腔と、前記本体の通気用管腔と流体連通した通気用管腔とを有し、前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔及び前記カニューレの通気用管腔がそれぞれ、前記鋭利なカニューレに配置された開口部を有するカニューレとを備え、
前記カニューレの通気用管腔が、断面が概して凹形の内側の壁を有し、前記本体の通気用管腔及び通気用管腔を通る流体の流量が、前記本体の薬剤用管腔と前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔の組合せを通る流体の流量と少なくとも同じになるように、前記本体の通気用管腔とカニューレの通気用管腔の組合せの長さ及び断面寸法が選択されるバイアル・アダプタ。 - 前記カニューレの通気用管腔の内側の壁の概して凹形の断面形状が形成角を含み、前記形成角の頂点が前記カニューレの通気用管腔の外側の壁に向いている、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの通気用管腔の外側の壁の断面形状が概して凸形である、請求項2に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記概して凸形の外側の壁及び概して凹形の内側の壁が、2つの側壁によって相互連結される、請求項3に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記側壁がほぼ直線であるが、前記鋭利なカニューレの長手方向中心線に対して非円弧形に向けられる、請求項4に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの通気用管腔の内側の壁の概して凹形の断面形状が、複雑な湾曲を含む、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの通気用管腔の内側の壁の断面形状が、鈍角をなす直線部分を含み、鈍角の頂点が、外側の壁に面する、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの通気用管腔の前記内側の壁が、前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔に面するように向けられ、それにより、前記カニューレの通気用管腔を、前記カニューレ内で前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔のより近くに配置することができて、直径の小さいカニューレをもたらし、しかも、通気用管腔の大きさが少なくとも前記薬剤用管腔と同じである、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔の断面形状が、概して円形であり、
前記カニューレの通気用管腔の前記内側の壁の断面形状が、鈍角をなす直線部分を含み、前記内側の壁が、前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔に面するように向けられ、
それにより、前記カニューレの通気用管腔を、前記カニューレ内で前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔のより近くに配置することができ、直径の小さいカニューレをもたらし、しかも、通気用管腔の大きさが少なくとも前記薬剤用管腔と同じである、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。 - 前記カニューレ上の前記カニューレの通気用管腔の開口部が、前記カニューレ上の前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔の開口部より前記鋭利な先端部に近い、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記薬剤用管腔中を通る流体の流れを制御するように適合された、前記本体の薬剤口に配置されたニードル・フリー・バルブをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記通気用管腔中を通る流体の流れを制御するように適合された、前記本体の通気口に配置されたフィルタをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記フィルタが親水性フィルタを含む、請求項12に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記フィルタが抗菌性フィルタを含む、請求項12に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔の断面形状が、前記内側の壁、前記外側の壁、並びに前記内側の壁と外側の壁を相互連結する少なくとも1つの側壁を有する多角形である、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの通気用管腔の多角形の断面形状が、前記薬剤用管腔に面する前記内側の壁を備え、複雑な湾曲によって凹形が形成される、請求項15に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔が、前記鋭利なカニューレの長手方向中心線に配置される、請求項16に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの通気用管腔の外側の壁の断面形状が、概して凸形である、請求項16に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記概して凸形の外側の壁と概して凹形の内側の壁が、2つの側壁によって相互連結される、請求項18に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記側壁が、ほぼ直線であるが、前記鋭利なカニューレの長手方向中心軸に対して非円弧形に向けられる、請求項19に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの通気用管腔の前記概して凹形の内側の壁の断面形状が、前記外側の壁に面した少なくとも1つの形成角を含む、請求項15に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記カニューレの通気用管腔の前記内側の壁の断面形状が、複雑な湾曲形状を含む、請求項15に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記連結する側壁が、前記鋭利なカニューレの長手方向中心線に関して非円弧形である、請求項3に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- 前記薬剤用開口部と流体連通するように、概して前記とがった先端部から前記カニューレの外面に長手方向に形成された、開放チャネルをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のバイアル・アダプタ。
- バイアルの開口部を覆って配置された穿孔可能なシールを含むバイアル・クロージャを有する前記バイアルにアクセスする方法であって、
互いに離れた薬剤用管腔及び通気用管腔を有する鋭利なカニューレで前記シールを穿孔するステップであり、前記カニューレの通気用管腔が、前記薬剤用管腔の近くに配置することができるように概して凹形の内側の壁を有し、前記通気用管腔中を通る流体の流量が、前記薬剤用管腔中を通る流体の流量と少なくとも同じになるように、前記通気用管腔の寸法及び長さが選択されるステップと、
前記バイアル・アダプタを前記バイアルに固定する取付け装置、及びハウジング内に配置されシールを貫通する鋭利なカニューレを有するハウジングを前記バイアルに取り付けるステップであり、前記鋭利なカニューレが前記ハウジング内に配置されるステップと、
前記鋭利なカニューレ中を通り、前記カニューレと流体連通する本体部分を通る流体を連通するステップであり、前記本体部分が、前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔と流体連通し薬剤口を有する本体の薬剤用管腔と、前記カニューレの通気用管腔と流体連通し通気口を有する本体の通気用管腔とを有し、前記本体の薬剤用管腔及び通気用管腔が互いに離れているステップとを含む方法。 - バルブを有するニードル・フリー・コネクタを備えた前記本体の薬剤口を通る流体の流れを制御するステップをさらに含む、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 前記通気口と連通するように配置されたフィルタを有する前記本体を通る流体の流れを制御するステップをさらに含む、請求項25に記載の方法。
- 流体の流れを制御する前記ステップが、前記通気口と連通するように取り付けられた疎水性フィルタを有する前記本体中を通る液体の流れを制御するステップを含む、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 流体の流れを制御する前記ステップが、前記通気口と連通するように取り付けられた抗菌性フィルタを有する前記本体中を通る空気伝搬性の薬物の流れを制御するステップを含む、請求項27に記載の方法。
- バイアルの開口部を覆って配置された穿孔可能なシールを含むバイアル・クロージャを有する前記バイアルにアクセスするためのバイアル・アダプタであって、
薬剤口及び通気口を有する本体部分であり、薬剤用管腔が前記薬剤口につながり、通気用管腔が前記通気口につながり、前記薬剤用管腔及び通気用管腔が互いに離れている本体部分と、
バイアルの内容物にアクセスするために、前記バイアル・クロージャのシールを穿孔する鋭利な先端部を有し、前記本体内に取り付けられたカニューレであり、前記本体の薬剤用管腔と流体連通した薬剤用管腔と、前記本体の通気用管腔と流体連通した通気用管腔とを有し、前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔及び前記カニューレの通気用管腔がそれぞれ、前記鋭利なカニューレに配置された開口部を有するカニューレとを備え、
前記カニューレの通気用管腔が、断面が概して凹形の内側の壁を有し、前記本体の通気用管腔及び通気用管腔を通る流体の流量が、前記本体の薬剤用管腔と前記カニューレの薬剤用管腔の組合せを通る流体の流量と少なくとも同じになるように、前記本体の通気用管腔とカニューレの通気用管腔の組合せの長さ及び断面寸法が選択されるバイアル・アダプタ。
