Abstract
【解決手段】電極組立体と、前記電極組立体が収容されるように上部に開口が形成され、対向する長側壁のいずれか一方である第1長側壁と該第1長側壁と対向する第2長側壁とが非対称に形成される缶と、前記缶の開口を密封するキャップ組立体と、を含むことを特徴とするリチウム二次電池である。

Description
図1は、本発明の第1実施形態によるリチウム二次電池の分解斜視図である。また、図2aは、本発明の第1実施形態による缶を示した斜視図であり、図2bは図2aのI−I線に沿って切断した断面図であり、図2cは本発明の第1実施形態による缶の平面図である。また、図2dは、本発明の第1実施形態による缶の縦圧縮時に変形された形態を示した平面図である。

Claims (17)
- 電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体が収容されるように上部に開口が形成され、対向する長側壁のいずれか一方である第1長側壁と該第1長側壁と対向する第2長側壁とが非対称に形成される缶と、
前記缶の開口を密封するキャップ組立体と、
を含むことを特徴とするリチウム二次電池。 - 前記第1長側壁は前記第2長側壁より厚さが薄いことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記第1長側壁及び前記第2長側壁は、0.18mm〜0.4mmの厚さ範囲でお互いに異なる厚さに形成されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記第1長側壁の厚さは、前記第2長側壁の厚さと比較して、0.05mm〜0.10mm大きくなるように形成されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記第2長側壁の上端の中心部には、前記缶と前記キャップ組立体の接合のための溶接時に周辺部より相対的に溶接が弱くなされる弱溶接部が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記缶は、前記長側壁と繋がって形成される短側壁をさらに含み、
前記短側壁は、曲面に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。 - 前記短側壁は、前記第1長側壁を基準として、前記第2長側壁に行くほど厚さが減少される形態に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項2ないし請求項6のいずれに記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記短側壁は、第1短側壁と第2短側壁からなり、前記第1短側壁と前記第2短側壁はお互いに対称をなすように形成されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載のリチウム二次電池
- 前記第1長側壁の上端内側には、段差部が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記長側壁の第1長側壁と第2長側壁は同一の厚さで形成され、前記第1長側壁には周辺より薄い厚さからなるパターン部が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記パターン部は、前記第1長側壁の中央に縦軸方向に、溝形状の直線バー(bar)が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記長側壁は、0.18mm〜0.4mmの厚さに形成されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記パターン部は、前記第1長側壁の中央上端に溝形状に形成されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記パターン部は、円型、三角形、四角形の中から選択されるいずれか1つに形成されることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を収容する溝が内側に形成され、板状の対向する2つの面を備えるパウチ外装材と、
前記対向する2つの面の面積に相応する大きさの板状で、お互いに非対称に形成される第1補強板と第2補強板とからなる補強板と、
を含むことを特徴とするリチウム二次電池。 - 前記第1補強板と前記第2補強板はお互いに異なる厚さに形成されることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記補強板は、金属またはプラスチックに形成されることを特徴とする、請求項16に記載のリチウム二次電池。
