【解決手段】この液晶表示装置100は、液晶表示パネル104と、上記液晶表示パネル104の背面に配置される導光板118と、上記導光板118の背面で上記導光板118を収納し、上記導光板118が安着される底面120aと当該底面120aから延びて上記導光板118の側面を覆う側壁120bとを備える反射板120と、上記反射板120の下部に位置して上記液晶表示パネル104、上記導光板118及び上記反射板120を収納するボトムシャーシ122と、を含む。

Claims (8)
- 液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルの背面に配置される導光板と、
前記導光板の背面で前記導光板を収納し、前記導光板が安着される底面と当該底面から延びて前記導光板の側面を覆う側壁とを備える反射板と、
前記反射板の下部に位置して前記液晶表示パネル、前記導光板及び前記反射板を収納するボトムシャーシと、
を含むことを特徴とする、液晶表示装置。 - 前記反射板の側壁の高さは、前記導光板の高さよりも高いか同一に設定されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記液晶表示パネルと前記導光板との間に位置する光学シートを更に含み、
前記反射板の側壁の高さは、前記導光板上に積層された前記光学シートの側壁を覆うように前記光学シートの高さよりも高いか同一に設定されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記ボトムシャーシは、
前記導光板及び前記反射板が安着される底面と、
当該底面から延びて前記反射板の側壁を覆う第1側壁と、
を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記ボトムシャーシは、
前記第1側壁から前記底面と平行な平面上において外側に延びた段差部と、
当該段差部から上部方向に折曲がって延びた第2側壁と、
を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記段差部には前記液晶表示パネルが安着されたことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第2側壁の外側に延びた補強部を更に備えることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記補強部は、前記第2側壁の上側で少なくとも一回以上折曲がった形状で形成されることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の液晶表示装置。
