【解決手段】バックライトアセンブリ150と、前記バックライトアセンブリの一側に配される液晶表示パネル104と、前記バックライトアセンブリの他側に配され、前記バックライトアセンブリおよび前記液晶表示パネルを収納するボトムシャーシ122と、を備える液晶表示装置の前記ボトムシャーシの底面上に、前記液晶表示パネルおよび前記バックライトアセンブリ側に突出する突出部を設ける。

前記バックライトアセンブリの一側に配される液晶表示パネルと、前記バックライトアセンブリの他側に配され、前記バックライトアセンブリおよび前記液晶表示パネルを収納するボトムシャーシと、を備え、前記ボトムシャーシは、前記液晶表示パネルおよび前記バックライトアセンブリ側に突出する突出部を底面上に有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置が提供される。
また、前記突出部は、前記ボトムシャーシの底面上に複数個形成されてもよい。また、前記突出部は、スティック状に形成されてもよい。さらに、前記スティック状の長さ方向が前記ボトムシャーシの底面の短辺方向と一致してもよい。

Claims (12)
- バックライトアセンブリと、
前記バックライトアセンブリの一側に配される液晶表示パネルと、
前記バックライトアセンブリの他側に配され、前記バックライトアセンブリおよび前記液晶表示パネルを収納するボトムシャーシと、
を備え、
前記ボトムシャーシは、前記液晶表示パネルおよび前記バックライトアセンブリ側に突出する突出部を底面上に有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記突出部は、前記ボトムシャーシに投影された前記液晶表示パネルの表示領域と重なる領域に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記突出部は、上面が前記バックライトアセンブリの構成要素のうち、最下層に配置される構成要素と接触するように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記液晶表示パネルの一側に形成されたパッド部から前記ボトムシャーシの底面の一領域上に延びるように撓んで実装される軟性印刷回路基板をさらに含み、
前記軟性印刷回路基板は、前記突出部と重ならないように配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記突出部の高さは、前記軟性印刷回路基板の厚さに等しいか、それより小さく設定されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記ボトムシャーシと前記バックライトアセンブリとの間に位置し、これらを接着させる接着部材をさらに含み、
前記接着部材は、前記突出部と重ならないように、前記突出部の形成された領域以外の前記ボトムシャーシの底面に付着することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記突出部の高さは、前記接着部材の高さに等しいか、それより低く設定されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記突出部は、前記ボトムシャーシの底面上に複数個形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記突出部は、スティック状に形成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記スティック状の長さ方向が前記ボトムシャーシの底面の短辺方向と一致することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記突出部は、コイン状に形成されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記コイン状の突出部は、前記ボトムシャーシの底面の一領域上にマトリクスタイプで配列されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の液晶表示装置。
