Description
この実施例は、調整剤及び分散剤の添加順番の重要性を明示している。400gのスタッコ(Southard, OK,からのスタッコ)、220gの水、0.7gのHRA凝結促進剤及び0.89gのMELFLUX2500L分散剤(45%の固体を含む)がそれぞれの下記試験に用いられた。さらに、0.6gのソーダ灰が下記の二つのサンプルに加えられた。全ての実施例において、スタッコ及び調整剤(入れる場合)が添加される前に、水及び分散剤が水に加えられた。スタッコを添加した後、混合物を15秒間浸し、その後30秒間混合してスラリーを形成した。調整剤は下記のように加えられた。
この比較例において、石膏パネルの製造に用いられる石膏スラリーに石灰が加えられた結果、流動性が僅かに改良された。全ての成分の量は、石膏パネル1000平方フィート(104m2)ごとのポンドとして示される(「lbs/MSF」)。1285ポンドのスタッコが、3ポンドの澱粉、3ポンドのセレローズ(cerelose)及び0.32ポンド(145g)の凝結遅延剤を含む他の乾燥成分に混合された。アイボリー石灰は予め水に混合され、スタッコ注入口に隣接したいくつかの水注射器の開口部の一つを通って直接混合器に加えられた。分散剤(MELFLUX2500L)は計量水に直接加えられ、均一になるまで混合され、その後、混合物はスタッコ注入口に隣接した残り水注射器の開口部を経て混合器に加えられた。乾燥成分はスタッコと混合され、その後、スタッコの縦樋を通って混合器に加えられた。
工場試験が行われ、そこでは、分散剤及び調整剤が両方とも計量水に溶解された。調整剤(ソーダ灰)は水に溶解されて、10重量%の溶液を作った。32%固体に希釈された3.9lds/msfのMELFLUX2500Lが計量水に加えられ、次に11.3lb/msfのソーダ灰スラリーが計量水に加えられ、全ての成分は混合されて均一な溶液を形成した。1257ポンドのスタッコが混合器に加えられ、石膏スラリーを形成した。
Claims (23)
- スタッコを含む一定量の乾燥成分を取得するステップと、
溶液を形成するよう、調整剤及び分散剤を水に予め溶解させるステップと、
石膏スラリーを形成するよう、前記溶液及び前記乾燥成分を混合するステップと、
を含む石膏スラリーの製造方法。 - 前記予め溶解させるステップにおける前記調整剤が、石灰、生石灰、シリケート、ホスフェート、ホスホネート及びカーボネートからなる群の少なくとも一つを含む、請求項1に記載の石膏スラリーの製造方法。
- 前記調整剤が、炭酸ナトリウム、炭酸カリウム、酸化カルシウム、ケイ酸ナトリウムからなる群の少なくとも一つを含む、請求項2に記載の石膏スラリーの製造方法。
- 前記予め溶解させるステップが、前記調整剤及び前記分散剤を基本的に同時に前記水に加える工程を含む、請求項1に記載の石膏スラリーの製造方法。
- 前記予め溶解させるステップにおいて、前記分散剤が加える前に前記調整剤が前記水に加えられる、請求項1に記載の石膏スラリーの製造方法。
- 前記予め溶解させるステップにおける前記分散剤がポリカルボン酸エーテル分散剤である、請求項1に記載の石膏スラリーの製造方法。
- 前記予め溶解させるステップにおける前記分散剤がビニルエーテル繰返し単位を含む、請求項6に記載の石膏スラリーの製造方法。
- 前記予め溶解させるステップが、調整剤のスラリーを形成するために、前記調整剤を一部の前記水と混合する工程をさらに含み、この工程は、前記調整剤のスラリー及び前記分散剤を残り一部の前記水に予め溶解させる工程の前に行われる、請求項1に記載の石膏スラリーの製造方法。
- 前記乾燥成分が少なくとも50重量%のスタッコを含む、請求項1に記載の石膏スラリーの製造方法。
- スタッコを含む一定量の乾燥成分を取得するステップと、
溶液を形成するよう、調整剤および分散剤を水に予め溶解させるステップと、
石膏スラリーを形成するよう、前記溶液及び前記乾燥成分を混合するステップと、
前記石膏スラリーを製品に成形するステップと、
前記スラリーを凝結するステップと、
を含む石膏製品の製造方法。 - 窯の中で前記石膏製品を乾燥させるステップをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の石膏製品の製造方法。
- 前記乾燥成分が少なくとも50重量%のスタッコを含む、請求項10に記載の石膏製品の製造方法。
- 前記石膏製品が石膏パネルである、請求項10に記載の石膏製品の製造方法。
- 前記成形するステップが、2枚の対向材料の間に前記スラリーをサンドイッチする工程をさらに含む、請求項13に記載の石膏製品の製造方法。
- 前記分散剤がアクリル繰返し単位及びビニルエーテル繰返し単位を含む、請求項13に記載の石膏製品の製造方法。
- 前記分散剤がポリカルボン酸エーテルを含む、請求項10に記載の石膏製品の製造方法。
- 前記乾燥成分が、増強剤、凝結促進剤、凝結遅延剤、澱粉、繊維及び殺生物剤からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一つをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の石膏製品の製造方法。
- ポリカルボキシレート分散剤、調整剤及びスタッコを含む水硬性材料を選択するステップと、
スラリーを形成するよう、前記ポリカルボキシレート分散剤、前記調整剤、前記水硬性材料及び水を一緒に混合するステップと、
を含む石膏スラリーの製造方法であって、
前記水、前記スタッコ及び前記分散剤によってスラリー層が形成される前に、前記調整剤が前記水、前記スタッコ及び前記分散剤の少なくとも一つに加えられる、石膏スラリーの製造方法。 - 前記分散剤が乾燥状態にあり、
前記混合するステップが、
スタッコ−分散剤混合物を作るように前記分散剤を前記スタッコに加える一方、前記調整剤を水に予め溶解させる工程と、
次に、前記スタッコ−分散剤混合物を予め調整剤が溶解されている前記水に加える工程と、をさらに含む、請求項18に記載の石膏スラリーの製造方法。 - 請求項10に記載の石膏製品の製造方法によって作られる、製品。
- 石膏パネルである、請求項20に記載の製品。
- 床又は床下張りである、請求項20に記載の製品。
- キャスティング製品である、請求項20に記載の製品。
