Abstract
Description
流速及び関節内圧力を正確に監視するコンピュータ制御のポンプは通常これを遂行する。しかしながら、液体管理を適切にしない場合は面倒な事態になる。もし圧力が低すぎると、多量の出血及び不完全な可視化が起こる。もし圧力が高すぎ、かつ長くかけすぎると周囲の組織に著しい腫れが起こる。膝関節鏡手術の間、過度の高圧は脚のコンパートメント症候群につながる。

Claims (18)
- 非外傷性関節鏡器具シースにおいて、
壁、先端部、基端部、外面、内面、内径及び外径によって特徴づけられているチューブであって、前記チューブ内径は、関節鏡器具がチューブの中に配置されるとき、チューブの内面と関節鏡器具の外面との間に液体を流すことができるように大きさと寸法が決められているチューブと、
チューブの内面から内側に延び、チューブに沿って長手方向に連続している複数のリブとからなり、
前記リブがさらに、関節鏡器具の外面とチューブの内面との間の管腔を規定することを特徴とする非外傷性関節鏡器具シース。 - 前記先端部が、一つ以上の外側の管腔と液体連通した複数の穴と、手術部位とをさらに有する請求項1に記載の非外傷性関節鏡器具シース。
- 前記基端部は液体源または真空源に取付可能なハブをさらに有し、前記ハブは外側の管腔と液体連通している請求項1に記載の非外傷性関節鏡器具シース。
- チューブの内面に沿って長手方向に延び、内側に突出するランドの内部に配置された作業チャンネルをさらに有し、前記チャンネルは開放された基端及び先端を有する管腔によって特徴づけられている請求項1に記載の非外傷性関節鏡器具シース。

関節鏡外科手順を施すのに適切な関節鏡器具と、非外傷性シースとを有し、
前記シースはその内面と、前記シースの内部に配置された第1外科器具の外面との間に液体を流すことができるように大きさと寸法が決められた内径を有し、前記シースは前記シースの内面から内側に延び、前記シースに沿って長手方向に連続している複数のリブをさらに有し、
前記リブは第1外科器具の外面とシースの内面との間に、外側の管腔を規定し、前記管腔は手術部位への液体の流入及び手術部位からの液体の流出を容易にし、
前記非外傷性関節鏡器具シースは、第1外科器具の上に、取り外し可能なように配置され、
関節鏡器具をシースの内部に置くステップ;
シース内部に配置された圧力ポートと液体連通する変換器を置くステップ;及び
前記関節鏡手術を施すシステムにより関節鏡外科手順を施すステップからなる関節鏡手術を施す方法。 - 関節鏡手術部位からの圧力測定結果を変換器により受け取るステップをさらに有する請求項11に記載の方法。
- 変換器により受け取った測定結果に基づいて、関節鏡手術部位に対する液体流入または液体流出を調整するステップをさらに有する請求項12に記載の方法。
