Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- ウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂ABCDであって、多価アルコールA、オレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸B2を脂肪酸B1にグラフトしてなる変性脂肪酸B、グラフト化されていない脂肪酸C、及び多官能性イソシアネートDに由来する各部位を含むことを特徴とするウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂。
- ジカルボン酸若しくはトリカルボン酸E又はそれらの無水物に由来する部位をさらに含む請求項1に記載のウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂。
- 前記オレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸B2が、カルボキシル基に対してα位に置換基を有しており、該置換基が、1〜8個の炭素原子を有する直鎖、分岐鎖又は環状アルキル基、及び5〜10個の炭素原子を有するアリール基からなる群より選択されたものである請求項1に記載のウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂。
- 前記脂肪酸B1が、4〜24個の炭素原子を有する少なくともモノオレフィン性不飽和モノカルボン酸である請求項1に記載のウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂。
- 前記のグラフト化されていない脂肪酸Cが、4〜24個の炭素原子を有する少なくともモノオレフィン性不飽和モノカルボン酸、及び6〜30個の炭素原子を有する飽和脂肪酸からなる群より選択されるものであり、該グラフト化されていない脂肪酸C又はその混合物が、二重結合の最小含有量3.15mol/kgを有している請求項1に記載のウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂。
- ウレタン基の質量分率が、前記樹脂ABCDの質量を基準として1%〜25%である請求項1に記載のウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂。
- 前記ウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂の水性分散物中の中和度が30%〜100%である請求項1に記載のウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂。
- 多価アルコールA、オレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸B2を脂肪酸B1にグラフトしてなる変性脂肪酸B、グラフト化されていない脂肪酸C、及び多官能性イソシアネートDに由来する各部位を含むウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂ABCDの水性分散物の製造方法であって、
脂肪酸B1をオレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸B2にグラフトする工程;
反応中形成される水を除去しながら、該グラフト化脂肪酸Bを、多価アルコールA及びオレフィン性二重結合の最小含有量が1.97mol/kgであるグラフト化されていない脂肪酸Cでエステル化する工程であって、該工程において用いる遊離体の物質量及び官能性が、縮合生成物が少なくとも1.1の平均ヒドロキシル官能性を有するように選択される工程;
これらのヒドロキシ官能性縮合生成物ABCを重付加によって多官能性イソシアネートDと反応させて各ウレタンを形成する工程;及び
前記付加物ABCDの残りのカルボキシル基を少なくとも部分的に中和すると共に、中和した付加物を前記水性相に転移させる工程を含むことを特徴とするウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂ABCDの水性分散液の製造方法。 - 前記第2工程の前記縮合生成物ABCが、前記第3工程前に、ジカルボン酸若しくはトリカルボン酸又はその無水物Eと反応してヒドロキシ官能性である(ABC)nE(式中、nは2又は3である)を形成する請求項8に記載のウレタン変性水希釈性アルキド樹脂ABCDの水性分散液の製造方法。
- 請求項1又は2に記載のウレタン変性アルキド樹脂を、木材、皮、織物、紙、厚紙、金属及び無機基材をコーティングする塗料中の結合剤として使用する方法。
