Abstract
Description
MDPE/LLDPE/MDPEの3層同時押出フィルムの縦方向配向
中密度ポリエチレン(XL3805、エクイスターケミカル社製、MI2:0.057dg/分、密度:0.938g/cm3、Mn:18,000、Mw:209,000)が、線状低密度ポリエチレン(GS707、エクイスターケミカル社製、密度:0.915g/cm3、MI2:0.700dg/分、Mn:30,000、Mw:120,000)と共に同時押出され、2.0mmのダイ間隙を有する200mmダイ上で、均等に層状化されたMDPE/LLDPE/MDPEの3層フィルムに変換される。このフィルムは、ダイ直径の8倍のネックの高さおよびブローアップ比(BUR)4:1を用いてハイストーク技術によって製造される。実施例C1、2、3、4、5および6におけるフィルム厚さは、それぞれ0.5、1.0、2.0、3.0、4.0および5.0ミルである。
HDPE/LLDPE/HDPEの3層同時押出フィルムの縦方向配向
実施例1〜6の一般的な方法が、繰り返される。高密度ポリエチレン(L5906、エクイスターケミカル社製、MI2:0.057dg/分、密度:0.959g/cm3、Mn:13,000、Mw:207,000)が、線状低密度ポリエチレン(GS707、エクイスターケミカル社製、密度:0.915g/cm3、MI2:0.700dg/分、Mn:30,000、Mw:120,000)と共に同時押出され、2.0mmのダイ間隙を有する200mmダイ上で、均等に層状化されたHDPE/LLDPE/HDPEの3層フィルムが製造される。このフィルムは、ダイ直径の8倍のネックの高さおよびブローアップ比(BUR)4:1を用いてハイストーク技術によって製造される。
単層HDPE薄型フィルム
高密度ポリエチレン(L5005、エクイスターケミカル社製)が、2.0mmのダイ間隙を有する200mmダイ上で、0.5ミルの厚さを有する単層フィルムへと変換される。このフィルムは、ダイ直径の8倍のネックの高さおよびブローアップ比(BUR)4:1を用いてハイストーク技術によって製造される。このフィルムは、縦方向に配向されておらず、高い引張強度の薄型フィルム用途において使用される今日のフィルムの代表的なものである。フィルムの特性を表3に列挙した。
Claims (20)
- 0.1ミル〜1ミルの厚さを有し、線状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)の少なくとも一つの層および高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)または中密度ポリエチレン(MDPE)の少なくとも一つの層を有し、44グラム/ミル以上の正規化縦方向引裂強度を有する多層薄型フィルム。
- 0.4ミル〜0.8ミルの厚さを有する請求項1に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 0.5ミル〜0.8ミルの厚さを有する請求項1に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 前記フィルムが、縦方向に配向されている請求項1に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- HDPE/LLDPE/HDPEの3層フィルムである請求項1に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 150グラム/ミルを超える正規化縦方向引裂強度を有する請求項5に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 200グラム/ミルを超える正規化縦方向引裂強度を有する請求項5に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 3〜6のドローダウン比で、縦方向に配向されている請求項5に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- ドローダウン比が、4〜6までの範囲内である請求項8に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 各HDPEが、0.945〜0.965g/cm3の同じまたは異なる密度を有し、LLDPEが、0.865〜0.925g/cm3の密度を有する請求項5に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- LLDPEおよび各HDPEが、120,000〜1,000,000の同じまたは異なる重量平均分子量および10,000〜500,000の同じまたは異なる数平均分子量を有する請求項5に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 0.4〜0.8ミルの厚さ、44グラム/ミルを超える正規化縦方向引裂強度、4,000psiを超える降伏での縦方向引張強度、9,000psiを超える破断での縦方向引張強度、150,000psiを超える1%割線縦方向モジュラス、50グラムを超えるダーツ落下強度、150,000psiを超える1%割線横方向モジュラス、60%未満のヘーズおよび20を超える光沢を有する請求項5に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- MDPE/LLDPE/MDPEの3層フィルムである請求項1に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 150グラム/ミルを超える正規化縦方向引裂強度を有する請求項13に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 200グラム/ミルを超える正規化縦方向引裂強度を有する請求項13に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 2〜6のドローダウン比で、縦方向に配向されている請求項13に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- ドローダウン比が、2〜4である請求項16に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 各MDPEが、0.930〜0.940g/cm3の範囲内の同じまたは異なる密度を有し、LLDPEが、0.865〜0.925g/cm3の密度を有する請求項13に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- LLDPEおよびそれぞれのMDPEが、120,000〜1,000,000の同じまたは異なる重量平均分子量および10,000〜500,000の同じまたは異なる数平均分子量を有する請求項13に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
- 0.4〜0.8ミルの厚さ、44グラム/ミルを超える正規化縦方向引裂強度、4,000psiを超える降伏での縦方向引張強度、9,000psiを超える破断での縦方向引張強度、150,000psiを超える1%割線縦方向モジュラス、50グラムを超えるダーツ落下強度、150,000psiを超える1%割線横方向モジュラス、60%未満のヘーズおよび20を超える光沢を有する請求項13に記載の多層薄型フィルム。
