Claims (37)
- 洗浄設備であって、
熱水用及び冷水用それぞれの入口並びに温度制御水用の出口を有する混合弁と、
出口水の温度を監視する一次温度センサと、
前記出口水の温度を監視する二次温度センサと、
前記一次温度センサ及び前記二次温度センサによって検出された前記出口水の温度を比較すると共にそれに応答して出口水流量を制御する手段と
を備える、洗浄設備。 - 前記制御手段は、前記一次温度センサ及び前記二次温度センサによって感知された出口水の温度間の差が所定の限度内にある場合は出口水の流れを許し、該差が該所定の限度を超える場合は出口水の流れを阻止する、請求項1に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記制御手段は、前記温度差が前記所定の限度内にある場合は出口水流を許すように常時開き、前記温度差が前記所定の限度を超える場合は閉じる弁を操作する、請求項2に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記弁は、機能しなくなって安全な状態になる、請求項3に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記混合弁は、電源が切られると閉位置に付勢され、電源が入れられると付勢に反して開状態にされるオン/オフ(on/off:開閉)ソレノイド弁である、請求項3又は4に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記一次温度センサによって感知された温度を用いて前記混合弁が制御され、前記二次温度センサによって感知された温度を用いて前記一次温度センサの精度がチェックされる、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記一次温度センサ及び前記二次温度センサによって感知される前記出口水温は、システムの安定状態動作中はほぼ同じであり、該一次温度センサ及び該二次温度センサからの前記出口水温を比較することで、クロスチェックを行って、所定値を超える温度差が検出された場合に水流を止めることができる、請求項6に記載の洗浄設備。
- 搬送遅延を減らして出口水の温度の変化に対する迅速な応答を提供するように、前記一次温度センサは、前記出口に向かって流れる熱水及び冷水の混合点の近くに位置決めされ、前記二次温度センサの応答が減衰される、請求項6又は7に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記二次温度センサによって感知される前記出口水温が、前記一次温度センサによって感知される該出口水温の事実上の平均値であるように、前記一次温度センサに対する前記二次温度センサの前記応答の減衰は、応答時間が遅いセンサを前記二次温度センサとして用いることによって達成される、請求項8に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記一次温度センサ及び前記二次温度センサの搬送遅延が同じであるように、該一次温度センサ及び該二次温度センサは、異なる応答時間を有し、水路に沿った同じ位置に位置付けられる、請求項9に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記応答の減衰は、前記二次温度センサの前に前記一次温度センサを置くことによって達成される、請求項8に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記一次温度センサと前記二次温度センサとの間で減衰室を用いて、生じ得るいかなる温度オーバーシュートも抑えられる、請求項11に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記混合弁は、前記出口に向かって流れる熱水対冷水の比を調整して、前記出口水温のユーザ選択に従った該出口水温を達成及び維持するように動作可能である、請求項1ないし12のいずれか1項に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記混合弁は、所望の出口水温を入力するユーザ操作可能な手段を含む、請求項13に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記混合弁は、前記一次温度センサによって感知された出口水温に応答して、電気モータによって最高温(full hot)及び最低温(full cold)に対応する限界位置(end positions)間で調整可能な弁部材を備える、請求項13又は14に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記電気モータは、ステッピングモータ又はリニアピエゾモータである、請求項15に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記電気モータは、ユーザ選択出口水温及び前記一次温度センサによって感知された出口水温の入力に応答して、電子コントローラによって操作可能である、請求項15又は16に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記電子コントローラは、一連のステップで前記電気モータを駆動するパルス信号を生成する、請求項17に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記限界位置間で前記弁部材を移動させるためのパルスの数は、約2500である、請求項18に記載の洗浄設備。
- 温度分解能は、分割ステップ(part-steps)を用いて前記限界位置間で前記弁部材を駆動することによって向上される、請求項18又は19に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記ユーザ選択出口水温及び前記感知された出口水温の入力に加えて、前記電子コントローラは、前記出口における水流量及び圧力、前記入口における水温、水流量、及び圧力、並びに前記弁部材の位置の1つ又は複数の入力を受け取る、請求項17ないし20のいずれか1項に記載の洗浄設備。
- 弁の始動及び動作中、前記電子コントローラは、システムチェックを実行して前記弁が正しく動作していることを確実にする、請求項17ないし21のいずれか1項に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記出口には、並列に配置された複数のオン/オフ弁と、1つ又は複数の該オン/オフ弁を選択的に操作して前記出口流量を調整する手段とが設けられる、請求項1ないし22のいずれか1項に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記オン/オフ弁は異なる流量を有する、請求項23に記載の洗浄設備。
- 所定温度よりも高い温度の水を出口に送出する殺菌サイクルを開始する手段が提供される、請求項1ないし24のいずれか1項に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記殺菌サイクルを開始するのに少なくとも2つの入力を必要とする、請求項25に記載の洗浄設備
- 最初のうちは水流が阻止され出口水温がユーザ選択温度に達すると中断されるように、始動時に前記出口への水流を制御する手段が提供される、請求項1ないし26のいずれか1項に記載の洗浄設備。
- 水流は、前記混合弁の温度設定を変更せずに使用時に中断させることができる、請求項27に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記出口の使用を監視すると共に該出口が所定期間にわたって使用されていなかった場合に該出口に通じる配管(pipe work:配管鋼)を洗い流すように該出口の動作を制御する手段が提供される、請求項1ないし28のいずれか1項に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記配管は、火傷の危険を引き起こすことがない、事前設定された温度の水で洗い流される、請求項29に記載の洗浄設備。
- 混合室に熱水及び冷水を送出する流れガイドであって、前記混合室に通じる複数の導管を有し、該導管は、第1の組及び第2の組で配置されて、該第1の組の導管が該第2の組の導管と交互になっており、該第1の組の導管は冷水を受け取り、前記第2の組の導管は熱水を受け取る、流れガイドが提供される、請求項1ないし30のいずれか1項に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記混合室に送出される熱水対冷水の比は、比例弁(proportioning valve)機構によって制御される、請求項31に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記比例弁機構は、シャトル弁を含む、請求項32に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記比例弁機構は、別個の変調ソレノイド弁を含む、請求項32に記載の洗浄設備。
- 前記ユーザ操作可能な手段は、制御設定のユーザ選択のためのインタフェースパネルを備える、請求項14に記載の洗浄設備。
- 1つ又は複数の設定は選択的にブロックすることができる、請求項35に記載の洗浄設備。
