Claims (16)
- 可撓性器具の送達及び誘導のためのシースにおいて、
縦長のシャフトと、
複数対のリンクを有する近位部分及び遠位部分であって、各々の対の各々のリンクが、当該対の他のリンクに対してある離間された位置関係で維持されている、近位部分及び遠位部分と、
1つ又は複数組のケーブルであって、各々の組が別個の対のリンクを連結し、これにより、ある対の1つのリンクが移動すると、当該対の他のリンクが対応して相対的に移動するようになる、1つ又は複数組のケーブルと、
前記シャフトを少なくとも部分的に貫通して延び、前記遠位部分の遠位端を貫通して開く管腔と、
前記近位部分と遠位部分との間に配置され、前記管腔と連通する入口ポートであって、前記管腔及び該入口ポートが、可撓性器具を受け入れ且つ通過させるように形成された入口ポートと、
を含んでなることを特徴とするシース。 - 前記2つ以上の隣り合うリンクが、可撓性ヒンジによって結合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシース。
- 少なくとも1つの可撓性ヒンジが、前記シャフトの長手方向軸に対して垂直に配向されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシース。
- 前記可撓性ヒンジの少なくとも1つが、他の少なくとも1つの可撓性ヒンジに対して鋭角に配向されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシース。
- 前記可撓性ヒンジの少なくとも1つが、他の少なくとも1つの可撓性ヒンジに対して直角に配向されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシース。
- 前記可撓性ヒンジが、互いに平行に配向されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシース。
- 前記近位部分の移動が、前記遠位部分の相対移動に対応していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシース。
- 対応する前記遠位部分の相対移動が、前記近位部分の移動と相反していることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のシース。
- 対応する前記遠位部分の相対移動が、前記近位部分の移動とミラー対称になっていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のシース。
- 複数対のリンクが、隣り合う複数対のリンクに関連した複数組のケーブルを受容し、且つ、該ケーブルを通過させるためのチャネルを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシース。
- 別個の組のケーブルによって連結されていない、1つ又は複数の追加のリンクを更に含んでなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシース。
- 一対のリンクを連結するケーブルが、当該一対の第1のリンクの中央から、当該一対の第2のリンクに比べて異なる径方向の距離に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシース。
- 前記近位部分及び遠位部分を固定位置にロックするためのロッキング機構を更に含んでなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシース。
- 可撓性の内視鏡を患者の体内の所望位置に導入する方法であって、
請求項1に記載のシースを患者の体内の所望位置まで進ませるステップと、
前記シースに可撓性の内視鏡を貫通させて進ませるステップと、
を含んでなることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記内視鏡の移動を容易にするために、前記シースの前記近位部分を操作するステップを、更に含んでなることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。
- 内視鏡検査を実施するためのシステムであって、
請求項1に記載のシースと、
前記シースの管腔を介して受容され、遠位端が前記シースの遠位部分から延びている内視鏡と、
を含んでなることを特徴とするシステム。
