Claims (22)
- 金属基質を有する材料の層を基板に付着させるための方法であって、所定の酸化物含有量を有する、アルミニウムをベースとする所望の合金組成の粉末を製造するステップと、前記アルミニウム合金粉末を金属溶射技法によって軸受基板に付着させるステップとを含む方法。
- 前記金属溶射技法が高速オキシ燃料溶射技法である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化物含有量が制御され、主としてアルミニウム酸化物からなる、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記アルミニウムをベースとする合金の粉末が、約0.5重量%ないし5重量%の酸化物を有する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記酸化物の含有量が、1重量%から2重量%までの範囲内である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記アルミニウムをベースとする粉末が、液体金属の溶融流を霧化することによって製造される、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 霧化された粉末が引き続いて熱処理され、制御された酸化物含有量が生成される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記アルミニウムをベースとする合金の粒子が、概ね丸いかあるいは球面形の粒子である、請求項6または7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記酸化物含有量が、金属粒子表面が溶射される表面に金属粒子表面が衝突する際に、概ね前記金属粒子表面に対応する位置で前記層の基質全体に分布する、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記合金粉末粒子のサイズが約10〜145μmの範囲内である、前記請求項のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記合金粉末粒子のサイズが約38〜106μmの範囲内である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記合金粉末粒子が45〜75μmの範囲内である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記合金粉末が、20〜45μ、45〜75μmおよび75〜106μmからなるグループから選択される粒子サイズ範囲を有するように選択される、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって製造された、内燃機関のための平軸受。
- 内燃機関のための平軸受であって、丈夫な裏当て材料と、前記裏当ての上の第1の軸受材料の層と、前記第1の軸受材料の上の第2の軸受材料の層とを備え、前記第2の軸受材料が、前記第2の軸受材料の組成を有する粉末を溶射することによって製造され、前記第2の軸受材料の組成が、1重量%から5重量%までのアルミニウム酸化物からなり、前記アルミニウム酸化物が、前記第2の軸受材料の層が付着している間、前記溶射される粒子の構造に概ね対応する方法で第2の軸受の層の基質全体に分布する平軸受。
- 前記酸化物の含有量が、2重量%から4重量%までの範囲内である、請求項16に記載の平軸受。
- 実質的に添付の明細書および図面を参照して説明した金属基質を有する材料を基板に付着させるための方法。
- 実質的に添付の明細書および図面を参照して説明した内燃機関のための平軸受。
- アルミニウムをベースとする合金の軸受材料の層が付着した基板を備えた軸受であって、前記基板と前記軸受材料の間に界面が存在し、前記界面が、前記基板の面積全体にわたって変化する粗さプロファイルを有し、前記軸受が、前記軸受が前記基板の上に厚さが変化する軸受材料を有するよう、前記付着した軸受材料を機械加工することによって形成された前記基板および前記軸受材料の所定の総壁厚を有する軸受。
- 前記基板材料が、前記付着した軸受材料を機械加工した後に前記表面の所定の位置で露出する、請求項19に記載の軸受。
- 前記オーバレイの深さが、前記軸受の表面積全体にわたってゼロμmから50μmまで変化する、請求項20または21のいずれかに記載の軸受。
- 前記オーバレイの深さが、前記軸受の表面積全体にわたって無作為に分布する、請求項20から23のいずれか一項に記載の軸受。
