Claims (40)
- 患者の体にエネルギーを流す医療用プローブアセンブリであって、
末端領域と近位領域を有し、その間の内径が定義された細長い部材と、
前記の細長い部材の末端領域に付随する突起部を備えたエネルギー伝達装置と、
突起部に付随する温度センサとを
備えた患者の体にエネルギーを流す医療用プローブアセンブリ。 - 前記プローブアセンブリは、内部が冷却されることを特徴とする請求請1記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 液体をプローブアセンブリの少なくとも一部に供給及び返還させる手段を備える請求項2記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 前記プローブアセンブリの部分への前記液体の流れを阻害、又は制限する手段を更に備える請求項3記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 前記液体を供給及び返還させる手段は、前記内径に取り付けられた少なくとも一つのチューブ部材を備える請求項3記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 前記液体を供給及び返還させる手段は、前記内径に取り付けられた少なくとも二つのチューブ部材を備える請求項3記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも二つのチューブ部材が互いに近接して配置されている請求項6記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 前記細長い部材の近位領域に取り付けられた少なくとも二つの柔軟なチューブ部材を更に備え、該少なくとも二つの柔軟なチューブ部材の末端は、前記少なくとも二つのチューブ部材に取り付けられていることを特徴とする請求項6記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも二つの柔軟なチューブ部材のうちの一つが近接部に付随する第一コネクタを備え、前記少なくとも二つの柔軟なチューブ部材が近接端部に付随する第二コネクタからなり、該第一のコネクタと第二のコネクタとが異なることを特徴とする請求項8記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。

- 更に、少なくとも一つの放射線不透過性マーカを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 更に、少なくとも一つの視認性マーカを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 更に、少なくとも一つの触知性マーカを有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 更に、患者の体の中を進む際に前記細長い部材の末端領域の少なくとも一部に対する動的形状制御メカニズムを有することを特徴とする請求項1〜19の何れかに記載の医療用プローブアセンブリ。
- 患者の体へのエネルギー伝達システムであって、
エネルギー源と、
請求項1〜20の何れかに記載の少なくとも二つのプローブアセンブリとを
備えることを特徴とする患者の体へのエネルギー伝達システム。 - 更に、前記システムの操作を制御するコントローラを有することを特徴とする請求項21に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 前記コントローラが少なくとも一つの温度センサから温度測定値を受信し、受信した温度に基づいて前記エネルギー源の操作を変更するよう操作できることを特徴とする請求項22に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 更に、少なくとも二つのプローブアセンブリに組み合わされた器具を有して、該器具は組み合わされたプローブアセンブリの温度を下げるべく操作できることを特徴とする請求項22に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 前記コントローラは少なくとも一つの温度センサから温度測定値を受信し、受信した温度に基づいて前記器具の操作を変更するべく操作できることを特徴とする請求項24に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 前記コントローラは、各々のプローブアセンブリごとに組み合わされた前記器具の操作を制御すべく操作でき、前記器具が組み合わされた一つのプローブ用の器具の操作は、前記器具が組み合わされた他のどのプローブ用の器具の操作とも独立していることを特徴とする請求項24に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 前記器具は、冷却液を組み合わされた前記プローブアセンブリに供給できる、少なくとも一つの蠕動ポンプを有することを特徴とする請求項24に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 前記エネルギー源は電気ジェネレータからなり、そのジェネレータは、交流方式でエネルギーを供給できるよう操作できることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 交流は、無線周波数領域とマイクロ波領域の一群から選択された周波数とを有することを特徴とする請求項28に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 更に、少なくとも一つの前記プローブアセンブリを受け入れるべく放射線状に形作られた少なくとも一つの導入チューブを備えることを特徴とする請求項21に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- エネルギー伝達システムは少なくとも3つの伝導部品からなり、前記コントローラは伝導部品の間のエネルギーの流れを制御できるよう操作できることを特徴とする請求項22に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 前記コントローラは、前記少なくとも一つの伝導部品に関連する少なくとも一つの電気パラメータを調整することによって、前記伝導部品の間のエネルギーの流れを制御できることを特徴とする請求項31に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 前記少なくとも一つの電気パラメータは、前記少なくとも一つの伝導部品と電流シンクとの間の電気インピーダンスであることを特徴とする請求項32に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 前記エネルギー源は、前記少なくとも二つのプローブアセンブリに双極モードでエネルギーを供給できるよう操作することを特徴とする請求項21に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 前記エネルギー源は、前記少なくとも二つのプローブアセンブリに単極モードでエネルギーを供給するべく操作でき、更に、前記システムは、接地板を有することを特徴とする請求項21に記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 更に、情報表示手段を有することを特徴とする請求項21〜35の何れかに記載のエネルギー伝達システム。
- 痛みを治療する請求項1〜20の何れかに記載の医療用プローブアセンブリの使用手順。

請求項1〜20の何れかに記載の少なくとも一つのプローブアセンブリと、
前記少なくとも一つのプローブアセンブリの治療部位への挿入を容易にする少なくとも一つの導入チューブとを
備えることを特徴とする電子手術キット。 - 更に、前記治療部位への前記少なくとも一つの導入チューブの挿入を容易にする少なくとも一つのスタイレットを備えることを特徴とする請求項38に記載の電子手術キット。
- 前記少なくとも一つの導入チューブは、少なくとも一つの温度センサを有することを特徴とする請求項38又は39に記載の電子手術キット。
