Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、肺を治療する装置及びシステムを提供する。本発明の1つの形態は、貫通して形成された開放した管腔を有する膨張可能な部材を備え、該膨張可能(例えば、拡張可能及びコンプライアント)な部材を肺の空気路の周壁部分と接触し得るようにされた膨張した直径を有する肺装置を提供する。該装置は、開放した管腔を閉塞し得るようにされたプラグと、プラグ及び膨張可能な部材を連結し得るようにされた、カプラーとを備えることもできる。本発明の別の形態は、貫通して形成された開放した管腔を有する膨張可能な部材であって、肺の空気路内に嵌まり得るようにされた膨張した直径を有する上記膨張可能な部材と、膨張可能な部材を肺の空気路まで送り出し得るようにされた送り出しカテーテルであって、カテーテルを膨張可能な部材と連結し得るようにされたカプラーを有する上記送り出しカテーテルとを備える、肺装置及び送り出しシステムを提供する。
Description
本発明の更に別の形態は、膨張可能な部材(拡張可能な部材のような)を送り出しシステムによって肺の空気路まで送り出すステップと、膨張可能な部材を膨張させ空気路壁と接触させるステップと、膨張可能な部材を貫通する開放した管腔を提供し膨張可能な部材の末端側の肺の部分にアクセスするステップとを備える、肺を治療する方法を提供する。一部の実施の形態は、膨張可能な部材を送り出しシステムから取り外すステップを追加する。一部の実施の形態は、膨張ステップの後、膨張可能な部材を収縮させる等によって、膨張可能な部材を萎縮させるステップを追加する。一部の実施の形態において、膨張可能な部材は再位置決めし且つ再位置決めステップの後、再膨張させる。
図13には、気管支内装置202に対する更に別のプラグ200が示されている。この実施の形態において、プラグ200は、ツール又はその他の装置を挿入するときに通る中央開口部204の回りにエラストマー的シールを形成する。プラグ200は、装置202と一体化し、プラグを装置202から別個に送り出す必要がないようにすることができる。
タンパク質ミクロスフェアは、本発明を可能にする別のクラスの材料である。例えば、アルブミンは適宜な架橋結合剤と架橋結合して映像を含む色々な用途のための粒子を発生させる。本発明を実施可能にするのに適したその他のタンパク質は、遺伝子組み換え又は自然に生じる人間、動物性又は植物性タンパク質を含み、コラーゲン、ゼラチン、カゼイン、大豆タンパク質、植物性タンパク質及びケラチンを含む。
HEMA(ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート)、AEMA(アミノエチルメタクリレート)、DMEMA(N,Nジメチルアミノ)及びその他のアクリレート、アクリルアミド、メタアクリルアミド、スチレン、又は任意の重合化可能な材料から成る合成重合系粒子もこの用途にて有用であろう。
Claims (29)
- 貫通して形成された開放した管腔を有する膨張可能な部材を備え、該膨張可能な部材は、肺の空気路の周壁部分と接触し得るようにされた膨張した直径を有する、肺装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置において、
膨張可能な部材は拡張可能な部材を備える、装置。 - 請求項2に記載の装置において、
拡張可能な部材はコンプライアントであるようにされる、装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、
開放した管腔を閉塞するよう追加し得るようにされたプラグを更に備える、装置。 - 請求項4に記載の装置において、
プラグ及び膨張可能な部材を連結し得るようにされたカプラーを更に備える、装置。 - 請求項4に記載の装置において、
第一の点と、第二の点との間の圧力差が圧力逃がし量を超えるとき、装置の基端側の空気路内の第一の点から装置の末端側の第二の点まで流体が流れるのを許容し得るようにされたプラグ内の圧力逃がし弁を更に備える、装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、
第一の点と、第二の点との間の圧力差が圧力逃がし量を超えるとき、装置の基端側の空気路内の第一の点から装置の末端側の第二の点まで流体が流れるのを許容し得るようにされた圧力逃がし弁を更に備える、装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置において、
装置を送り出しシステムに取り付け得るようにされたカプラーを更に備える、装置。 - 肺装置及び送り出しシステムにおいて、
貫通して形成された開放した管腔を有し、肺の空気路内に嵌まり得るようにされた膨張した直径を有する、膨張可能な部材と、
膨張可能な部材を肺の空気路まで送り出し得るようにされた送り出しカテーテルであって、該カテーテルを膨張可能な部材に連結し得るようにされたカプラーを備える前記送り出しカテーテルとを備える、肺装置及び送り出しシステム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
膨張可能な部材は拡張可能な部材を備え、該拡張可能な部材を拡張させ得るようにされた拡張管腔を更に備える、システム。 - 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、
拡張管腔を備える拡張カテーテルを更に備える、システム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
拡張可能な部材は、流体入口と、流体入口シールとを備える、システム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
拡張可能な部材を萎縮させ得るようにされた萎縮管腔を更に備える、システム。 - 請求項13に記載のシステムにおいて、
萎縮管腔を備える萎縮カテーテルを更に備える、システム。 - 請求項14に記載のシステムにおいて、
萎縮カテーテルは、拡張可能な部材が萎縮した後、拡張可能な部材を更に再位置決めし得るようにされる、システム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
カプラーは、拡張可能な部材が肺内に植え込まれたとき、カテーテルが膨張可能な部材から非係合状態となるのを許容し得るようにされた係合解除機構を備える、システム。 - 請求項16に記載のシステムにおいて、
係合解除機構は、回転可能な接続部を備える、システム。 - 請求項17に記載のシステムにおいて、
係合解除機構は、半径方向に可動の接続部を備える、システム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
開放した管腔を閉塞するよう追加し得るようにされたプラグを更に備え、プラグを空気路内にて膨張可能な部材まで更に送り出し得るようにされる、システム。 - 請求項19に記載のシステムにおいて、
プラグを空気路内にて膨張可能な部材まで送り出し得るようにされたプラグ送り出しカテーテルを更に備える、システム。 - 請求項19に記載のシステムにおいて、
プラグを開放した管腔から除去し得るようにされた装置を更に備える、システム。 - 請求項19に記載のシステムにおいて、
プラグ及び膨張可能な部材を解放可能に係合させ得るようにされたカプラーを更に備える、システム。 - 請求項22に記載のシステムにおいて、
カプラーは空気路内にて現場にてプラグと解放可能に係合し得るようにされる、システム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
膨張可能な部材が空気路内にて膨張したとき、膨張可能な部材の回りにて側副流(collateral flow)を検出し得るようにされた、側副流検出器を更に備える、システム。 - 請求項24に記載のシステムにおいて、
側副流検出器は、膨張可能なシールを備える、システム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
膨張可能な部材が空気路内にて膨張したとき、膨張可能な部材の回りの側副流を減少させ得るようにされた、側副流減少機構を更に備える、システム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
